I used to purchase lettuce and all the ingredients to make a salad. I somehow forgot to use them and they all spoiled in my refrigerator. What a waste! Finally found these wonderful Taylor Farms ready-made salads that were delicious and included a variety of ingredients. They were fresh, and had crisp and crunchy lettuce and carrots. They included packets of salad dressing that fit that particular salad. I now purchase BLT Salad and a variety of others, at least four to five that make delicious lunches. I don't waste salad ingredients anymore!
They were really good and fresh. The most thing that we all look for it in foods , I was worried because they sat in the fridge for actually two to four days after delivery even because we even forgot we had them they were super good! Thanxs! Very crispy , crispness , a good snack or even a side dish! could’ve had more dressing but we usually have a big bottle of our special kind :) I recommend these salads ! Try Them I think you will like them! Gives you quite a lot too!
I purchase at least 2 of these a week, sometimes more. It makes eating right a bit easier. They are ready to eat as is or add additional things like olives, extra cheese, cucumbers, etc. I'm not a fan of ranch dressing, so I give that to a friend, and I add Catalina, Yogart blue cheese, or Olive garden dressing. MMMMM
Sometimes they are good but half the time they don't have dates that are further out so you have time to eat salad salads instead of have to keep up going to the store to go get some all the time Sometimes they are good but half the time they don’t have dates that are further out so you have time to eat salads instead of have to keep up going to the store to go get some all the time
Great value, always fresh, tasty, and honestly as good or better than most sit down places. You get the whole package, fork, salad dressing, and YOUR choice of toppings. Have the salad with your choices. No dishes afterward simply throw away and enjoy your life. This is a REAL deal and good for my waist line and time saver. Simple to take for lunch at work . Give this a try you will agree.
These are hit and miss IMO. Sometimes you will receive them and they are fresh and other times they will expire the very next day. Taylor also using packet for the dressing and sometimes they use the small round mini cups. They should have a standard and use only the packets for the dressing. You get more dressing from the packet and they are not as messy as trying to open the cup of dressing and you receive less dressing in the mini cup. Also the forks should be wrapped in plastic for safety and also chemical contamination to the lettuce or other greens. Other than these small issues, they are pretty good. Just check the dates!!!
NOT FRESH even though in date! Lettuce brown and tomatoes split and moldy! I will try one more time and will quit ordering this item. First of all it shouldn't be on shelf to sell and secondly the people doing the shopping ; that get paid to shop; should be able to see that it does not need to be delivered to me! I do not send complaints to get my money back all the time, but I am going to start doing it! If grapes mashed, tomatoes mashed, I am going to start complaining. These people that shop , SLAM the food in the carts, then slam it in the bags, slam it in their cars and then on my porch if they do not see me watching! lol. I had surgery and unable to do my own shopping but these people need to take some pride in their job. I guess that is no longer a thing like it was my generation and no accountability from the employer when something done wrong!!!! I guess my standards are too high for today's work place!
I buy these salads a lot just because they're somewhat reasonably priced amd theyre easy. But to be completely honest theyre not that big and the ones with bacon, the bacon is greasy and fatty. I always throw the.bacon away. So theyll do if you're hungry and if you have something with it.
A salad kit should be fresh with good ingredients. Taylor farms is missing the main point. Good ingredients. Bacon bits mummified. Cheese fragments like styrofoam. Chicken squares like rubber. Lettuce? One large core and stem occupying approximately 40% of the center with loose leaves covering it. Inedible. Waste of money. Taylor Farms needs to do Better.
Tried Walmart salad bowls for lunch. Of the Market Side and Taylor I find Taylor has the best combinations. Both use low grade greens, mainly cores and rib (I think to avoid greens not storing well) but why such scant mount? They're cheap. Walmart needs to address better handling practices as every salad I've ordered, all have been within BUD but always softening sticky cheese, contents spilled mixed into the greens below, hard stale bacon bits and meats are not the freshest. On balance with so much produce being recalled, I'm not buying salad bowls again, they simply are not consistent quality.
