This used to be my fav… not anymore!

KK February 24, 2026

This salmon dinner used to be my favorite deli dinner. It used to be labelled Marketside, a Walmart brand. But now it’s labelled Taylor Farms, and it is now AWFUL! The potatoes changed… not only do you get a smaller portion, but they have red skins now. They’re watery and awful. They also load you up with a lower quality of green beans… all for a much higher price! Walmart, PLEASE bring back your good “salmon with everything butter” dinner and fire whoever is now making these awful Taylor Farms dinners. I am SOOOO bummed!

Amazingly Delicious 😋

Tammie November 2, 2025

This is Thee best packaged meal i have ever tasted. You can tell the mashed potatoes are homemade. the string beans are tasty. and the salmon is so goood and a pretty decent size. this meal is a 10 out of 10 for me. i even let my child try everything and she has asked me to also order some for her.

I never expected this pre prepared meal is exceptional. The salmon is well cooked but not dry. The majesty potatoes have great taste and texture. I had to get use to half done stringbeans, but it's just like eating vegetables. I have to stop myself from 3 or more at a time. I shared one to a friend. Now he is hooked as well.

Marketside better than Taylor Farms

Kathy March 28, 2026

This salmon meal was Marketside in the past. I loved it then %26 bought at least one almost every week. The Marketside garlic mashed potatoes were so creamy %26 great flavor. Taylor Farms lacks texture %26 flavor all the way around compared to the previous version.

The salmon dinner has changed. Higher priced and not as good. Bigger box, less mashed potatoes which i really thought were delious before. Different kind of potatoes, red i think with something in them. I counted 9 green beans. The salmon was good but tasted different. Didnt have the delicious sauce on them. The box being bigger made everything slide around. I really loved the dinner before the price went up and the items changed. So sorry. I didnt want to leave a bad review but I was so disappointed. Will try again and maybe it will be better. Please change potatoes back to russett.

Not what is use to be.

MrITstudent March 3, 2026

These use to be great and then you kept raising the price and so I tried it one more time, had a third of the mashed potatoes that it use to have, the salmon was good but less green beans too. Just not worth the $1.50 price increase and reduced portion sizes.

Goodbye Everything Spiced Salmon. I'll miss you.

Carla January 31, 2026

Everything Spiced Salmon was an excellent meal. In the past couple months it has gone through three name changes: Marketside, Kitchen Table, and today Taylor Farms. The price keeps going up, the meal drops in quality. Today, my meal looks as though it has gone through a tumble dryer cycle, 2/3 of the previous quantity of mashed potatoes are missing (as reflected in the calorie count on the meal label dropping) and the quality of the potatoes has dropped dramatically. To make matters worse, the label is no longer easily removable for microwaving. Sorry, Walmart. This is a fail in its current state. Two months ago it was a five-star deli meal.

This meal was delivered. All contents were mushed together on one side, less than half full. I removed the salmon which still had potatoes stuck to it and it weighed 2.4 ounces. There were about six green beans and a lot of mashed potatoes. Then there was a hole in the plastic. I know you're supposed bent it before warming, but not before purchasing. I will not be buying again. Almost six dollars!

Five-star reviews are not correct - wrong brand

victoria March 1, 2026

I am super disappointed that these Taylor Farms meals replaced so many of the Marketside meals, most specifically, the salmon/mashed potatoes/green beans one. The seasoning and potatoes were so much better in the Marketside meal, and this one is more expensive. I am fairly confident the link from the old Marketside meal takes me directly to this Taylor Farms version; it is very misleading to portray this as the same product. I find this version not at all to my taste, as compared to the Marketside one, and I am certain that many of the five-star reviews are actually meant for the Marketside veision.

Shrink-flation on this item and many others!

Sarah February 7, 2026

Walmart's Marketplace salmon dinner changed companies to Taylor Farms, raised the subscription price by 53 cents and get this, was 12 ounces, has now shrunk to 10.5 ounces! All without informing me and still showing the old 12 oz. picture! I tried to get a refund, but on the return page, there was only 1 item instead of the 2 dinners I ordered and was charged for. I'll try to call them to get a refund for this very deceptive practice, as I spend a thousand bucks a month with Walmart, I think I deserve better treatment. Wish me luck. BTW, I have canceled the future subscription for these dinners. Their loss.
