I love everything about this chopped salad! I prep 2 in my Hefty bento-type containers, divide the dressing packet into separate containers and I love using different add ins. [chopped hardboiled eggs, chopped chicken or steak, etc.] The maple bourbon dressing should be bottled for purchase!
so convenient! everything you need for a salad in one bag !!! (but tomatoes. which I think are not included in the salad because they might soften get watery and end up ruining all that wonderful lettuce, carrots cabbage purple cabbage and other goodies that come in the bag of salad) the salads do come with the dressing, crouton ps sometimes sunflower seeds sometimpes bits of cooked bacon
love these refreshing salad in this hot heat. Taylor farms makes top quality products and would highly recommend to all those who utilize app. purchases on their Android or Apple iPhones. Walmart packs up my food delivery orders just great and delivers it right to the front door step.
This was a really good salad mix that had just the right amount of crispy crunch that you are looking for in a salad. The items included add a nice flavor to it as well. The dressing has a nice flavor, but I generally have to add more of my own because the amount they give you is small and does not cover the whole salad.
This salad kit makes a really tasty and convenient lunch. Everything is already chopped and ready to go, so you just toss it together and you are set in minutes. The maple bourbon bacon flavor is a nice mix of sweet and savory, and the toppings add a great crunch. It feels a little more exciting than a basic salad but still quick enough for a busy day.
I like the vegetable blend, but the dressing tasted like old oil and the nut topping tasted like a boring airline snack. I rescued this with some ranch dressing and Crystal hot sauce. I got this as a substitution, and I'd never order or recommend this salad which feels like a flavor experiment that didn't work out well.
I'm normally a huge fan of any of the chopped salad kits, I love cabbage and more dense greens and I was so excited to try this when it was substituted for my normal sunflower bacon crunch salad kit. I omitted the bacon from this one because I always do, I just don't care for the bacon bits in the kits so I just don't use them. That's fine, I don't mind that. I assembled the salad, pre dressing it smelled and tasted amazing. I had taken a bite because I wanted to taste it before the dressing. Once I opened the dressing I was hit with a very intense alcohol smell, which I thought maybe I was being dramatic as it's a bourbon based dressing. Kind of like how a vinaigrette can smell very strong like vinegar but not taste super acrid. I poured a small amount out on the salad and took a bite and all I could taste was straight up bourbon. I don't know if there was something wrong with the dressing or what but it was so intense it burned my nostrils and throat. I generally love bourbon flavored things but this tasted like I poured straight bourbon on the salad with a splash of expired maple syrup. It was just the strangest taste I've ever had from a salad kit and I know it's not because the salad was bad, because I had taken a bite before the dressing was on.
The bag I received was full of brown lettuce. It was really gross. I threw it away. Total waste of money. Im sure it was Walmarts fault that i received a bad bag. You never know what you will get when you order produce online. Not all of there employees care if you get quality product.
This chopped Salad kit was opened, and there were no packets for toppings or dressing. There was also no way to return it without having to go back to the store. Why is it? I can order something for pick up and get a return but not when I have physically gone there to shop for it? I want a refund.
this was too sweet for me and I think the bourbon flavor is kind of off-putting. the salad fixing itself is very good I like the mix but the dressing left a lot to be desired. somewhat disappointing because usually the salad kits are pretty wonderful.
