I love everything about this chopped salad! I prep 2 in my Hefty bento-type containers, divide the dressing packet into separate containers and I love using different add ins. [chopped hardboiled eggs, chopped chicken or steak, etc.] The maple bourbon dressing should be bottled for purchase!
This was a really good salad mix that had just the right amount of crispy crunch that you are looking for in a salad. The items included add a nice flavor to it as well. The dressing has a nice flavor, but I generally have to add more of my own because the amount they give you is small and does not cover the whole salad.
so convenient! everything you need for a salad in one bag !!! (but tomatoes. which I think are not included in the salad because they might soften get watery and end up ruining all that wonderful lettuce, carrots cabbage purple cabbage and other goodies that come in the bag of salad) the salads do come with the dressing, crouton ps sometimes sunflower seeds sometimpes bits of cooked bacon
I love this salad. It's crunchy and fresh period two or three of the other flavors are pretty darn tasty too. It looks at first like there's not nearly enough dressing but yet once it's stirred together there is. I learned to make this at home using very similar ingredients and it comes out tasting as good but when I'm in a hurry I am not up for the task. That's when this somewhat overpriced item suddenly seems very reasonably priced. It's really tasty and I will eat the whole package by myself over the course of an evening!
Today I opened my bag of Taylor Farms Maple Bacon Chopped Salad, and discovered that the salad dressing bag w/toppings was missing from the inside. I never had a problem before and find the product delicious until this happened. Not sure if it's a one-off or if the others at the store are like that too?
It wasn't chopped enough and I had an awful coughing spell because some of the salad went down the wrong tube. It has some hard long additions to the salad that I couldn't get chewed up. That is because I'm elderly but a younger person would probably not have a problem or someone who has all of their teeth to chew it up but I had trouble cutting it with a fork
I like the vegetable blend, but the dressing tasted like old oil and the nut topping tasted like a boring airline snack. I rescued this with some ranch dressing and Crystal hot sauce. I got this as a substitution, and I'd never order or recommend this salad which feels like a flavor experiment that didn't work out well.
this was too sweet for me and I think the bourbon flavor is kind of off-putting. the salad fixing itself is very good I like the mix but the dressing left a lot to be desired. somewhat disappointing because usually the salad kits are pretty wonderful.
The bag I received was full of brown lettuce. It was really gross. I threw it away. Total waste of money. Im sure it was Walmarts fault that i received a bad bag. You never know what you will get when you order produce online. Not all of there employees care if you get quality product.
This chopped Salad kit was opened, and there were no packets for toppings or dressing. There was also no way to return it without having to go back to the store. Why is it? I can order something for pick up and get a return but not when I have physically gone there to shop for it? I want a refund.
