This salad mix is great. The dressing doesn't taste like mayonnaise at all, which some of these bagged Ceasars can taste that way. I now prefer these salads with the protein dressing. It paired nicely with chicken and steak.
My only complaint is that they don't stock more! So nice to be able to have a big salad guilt free and still get your protein in. I hope they start selling the dressing too.
I just got to try this yesterday for lunch, and I have to say it was delicious a lot of crunch bursting with flavor you must try it..
Awesome way to get extra protein!
The dressing was too thick to really spread but, otherwise, everything good. A bit pricey for what you get.
The dressing is thickened with the protein powder and will not exit the packet easil unless you allow it to warm up to room temp. Also - the dressing has minimal to no taste so doesn't add anything to your salad. The product is a gimmick in my opinion.
The dressing is not a ceasar dressing...it is thick and it ta k es a long time to mix in to coatcthe lettuce. Also the lettuce is shredded. Will not purchase this again.
This review was for a single serving Asian salad by Taylor and the date on the salad was expired. I bought two other salads. And one date would expire within two days, but the third one was not expiring until July. I've never had that happen before. I was told that sometimes the drivers actually do the shopping which is possibly why he didn't check the date on the salad and may have been rushing. I would definitely prefer to have the store employees do my shopping in the future. As a delivery service in general, I really appreciate this service because I am 78 years old and not in good health and I live in Mount Shasta, which is 35 miles from Yreka, so this does save me a great deal. This will not stop me from continuing to shop at Walmart and having it delivered.
The first time I purchased, I honestly didn't feel well afterward, but didn't connect it with the product. I purchased again weeks later and the day after the purchase, well within the expriration window, I opened the package and it was literally rotten. I did order online so couldn't personally check package. A search of Taylor Farms shows a long history of health issues. I recommend staying away completely even if it is cheaper that competition.
threw away. Lettuce was rust colored looked old
