Makes better foam than soaps that I have tried with less effort and less waste. (I hate rinsing the brush at the end of the shave and seeing enough foam for another shave go down the drain.) The scent is nice (wife loves it) and lasts past the rinse. One almost does not need to use aftershave. I highly recommend this and will buy it again and will send it as a gift to my wet shave enthusiasts friends. It is that good.

Very high quality shaving soap. Makes nice thick moist lather. You need to get your brush wet, rub it in the cream a little to pick some up on the tips of the brush then use a separate cup to work up a lather. It is not a hard soap cake that you can work up a lather on top of. It is a dense cream.

I bought this for my husband after I got a tired smelling the irritating, cheap smell of another brand. My husband lathers a small portion on his face and massages it before shaving. Leaving a smooth, easy way to shave 4 o clock shadows. He doesn't need to use also any aftershave. The scent is not pungent or strong that it gives you sneezing fits or headaches. It doesn't smell spoiled as well like other shaving cream when it's been left longer on the shelf. Decently priced. He also said that he doesn't get any headaches from the smell. And the scent sometimes even stay on his collar or pillow covers and I love the smell.

The beat shaving cream ever!! A few of soft touches of the Cream with the brush produces an thick and creamy foam in less than a minute. It also has a decent settled smell. My skin feels soft and fresh after shave.

A fresh and clean, what I would say is a barber shop smell. Wife thinks it smells a little "grandpa". Lathers well, and is a great product. I have recently tried the TOBS Eaton Collage and I like it much better for smell, preforms the same, great.

Believe the hype. This stuff is as good as the shaving snobs say on the forums. It is not hard soap, but a very soft cream (think of thick hand lotion). Dip the tips of your moistened brush--squeeze out all the water first-- into it (you don't need very much at all), and mix it in a empty bowl. In seconds you will make a very nice lather that goes on very smoothly and is very slick. The smell is nice too, but some may think its too old-school/grandpa type of smell, but I like it. The current Walmart seller ships quickly, and you will NOT find a cheaper price anywhere on the internet. At $12, this is a must buy. If you have even wondered about the high-dollar English creams, give this a go. Also, this seller has Proraso (one of my all time favorites) for half the price of anywhere else. I just bought 8 of them because I was worried it was a short-term sale item, but the price has held up.

Great product. Provides close shave and keeps the skin soft. My husband has used this product before and really liked the Sandalwood scent. Disappointingly, this time the scent did not smell like the sandalwood of prior purchases.

Was REALLY excited to get this because I heard it was 'the GoaT' of all shaving creams, so I ordered a full tub off the bat. Results were smooth and the cream smelled soapy clean, BUT.. After a three-pass shave I broke out in a sunburn-like rash in streaks on my face. (No, it's not razor burn--I've used the same razor, brush and bowl with Pinaud Clubman soap, after shave and Old Spice tube cream with no problem MULTIPLE times.) I'm not allergic to much, but the reaction 'felt' CHEMICAL. Others (primarily on YouTube) have reported similar reactions to mine. I ordered the ToOBS sandalwood tub the same time as 6x ToOBS samples, so I guess I'll figure out if it's the sandalwood or the ToOBS. Bottom line, I'd order one or more samples BEFORE you go all-in on a tub.
