Temperatures at various locations on geothermal HVAC systems. I have used these thermometers for this application for over ten years. They are accurate and easily installed. I have recently had some difficulty with total failure, or miscalibration. With my last order you shipped one as a replacement at no cost. THANK YOU. I have just been informed that we two more that have failed. One was not waterproof, and the other reads nothing.

just got taylor 9940n. put in the battery that came with it and temp reading keeps fluctuating up an down by about 10 degrees, making it useless for me. by chance I put in a used mostly dead battery and the readings stabilized. going back to the new battery makes the reading start fluctuating the 10 degrees again. Unit is not designed right, if reading are erratic with a good battery. I guess I have to use old batteries.

Not so great. Probe is very short, useless for sumbersible temps...seems like that's what it was intended for.
