The temp and humidity levels are right on.
Temperature readout is within one degree of my mercury based standard and two percent of my other humidity monitors.
Recently moved to a new climate. I like to regulate the indoor humidity. This helps me track when to dehumidify the house. I learned the temp gauge on my a/c is off! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I highly recommend this thermometer although its a little on the small side it works really well and is very accurate. This is not a cheap made in China thermometer. This is a Taylor thermometer and Taylor has been making thermometers for years.
Needed to keep an eye on the temp in my room so I didn't overheat my electronics. This was a perfect solution!
Did get one of several ordered that had a blemish on it, and company could not have been any quicker in replacing it for me. It looks nice/professional, with information in the order that I was looking for...time on top with temp to left and humidity to right. Easy to set with instructions that came with it. Love it!!!
Good sized digital display.
Temperature reads accurately, hygrometer I am not quite sure about. The comfort zone meter has not changed position at all, during temps of 75 degrees or 66 degrees, humidity 45% to 50% readings. I purchased this for the hygrometer; I own another Taylor meter located in the same room, and as I said, temps seem accurate, but humidity readings are not comparable. Also very hard to see the readings unless there is bright light on in the room. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I put this hydrometer next to another hydrometer I have so I could see if they would both say the same thing. This one reads 7 percent more than the other one reads. So I don't know which one is accurate. They are two different brands. Both of them read the room temp the same though. I even put brand new batteries in both of them to make sure that was not the problem. Same thing happened. This one gives a much higher humidity reading than the other brand one. I wish I knew which one is the most accurate. I need to know for the sake of my orchids.
It's not what I thought I ordered. I want OUTSIDE temperature. Likely my error. Age 86 sucks.
