Worked at first
Everything worked perfect for a few months. I did not like the pre programmed temp's. unfortunately my Christmas Prim Rib roast was over cooked do to unknowing that the thermometer was stuck on stupid at 100* when the roast was at 140* every time I turned it on after that day it read 100*

Broke after less than 5 uses!
Bought this for myself for Xmas, as the one I gave to my parents a year ago works well. I used it 3-4 times and then the display reads 125 degrees as soon as I plug in the thermometer, while sitting on my counter top!?!? The 'timer' is almost useless as you can't hear it from 5 feet away.
