Those complaining of skips are likely playing it on a cheap all in one turntable, lol. This is a well recorded album and her reimagining of her songs that were originally recorded years ago. Well done
Actually nothing to dislike when dealing with Walmart directly. It is the third party dealers that are not as easy to deal with or have the same return policies as Walmart.
The product was delivered in a timely manner, but of the corners of the vinyl packaging was slightly damaged (referring to the vinyl package, not the actual LPs themselves). That said, Taylor's album deserves 1000 stars.
I received my album and was SO excited for it to be the first LP played on my newly upgraded turntable system. I opened the record, grabbed the first LP and was shocked when the playback was super slow and it was most definitely did NOT sound like Taylor singing. I thought maybe I got the tone arm balanced incorrectly or something when setting up the new turntable, so I redid everything and guess what.. same thing happened. I grabbed another record and the sound was perfectly normal, and so rich and pretty on the new speakers. So I grabbed Red TV and put it on my old turntable... and it was clearly a fraudulent product. I started a return instantly and ordered it from Target, on their exclusive red vinyl, which seems fitting for the Red TV album. So be leery... some seem to be coming and are the real deal, and some aren't. I was one of the unlucky ones who did NOT get the real deal.
This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered this on 12/28 and I am writing this on 2/1. I have not received the package and have not had any communication with them. I have attempted to contact them twice and they refuse to reach out to me. Don't do business with them!
"Again - the actual album is amazing and I was so excited to get it. I had ordered this as a ""pick up"" at my local store but then it said they were unable to do this and it would get mailed to me in a few days. When received it was completely damaged and I was refunded after contacting walmart. I now have ordered the album through Amazon because I know it will come in perfect condition."
This vinyl album was shipped in a plastic walmart bag. The corners of this album are all dented and smashed. I am returning this album. Who wants to pay $50 for an album cover that is is all smashed?
OMG, they mailed it to me in just a thin piece of plastic envelope. No cardboard ir bubble wrap. So now I have an album that is all bent all the way around the edge of the record.
I ordered this to add to my collection and it came HORIBBLY damaged! Do not buy this product, instead buy it from the high quality of amazon. Please do not waste your money
This is a bait and switch... and illegal. Advertising it is Taylor. On the back it says "(Taylor's version)", without disclosing who is singing. For $50 it better be Taylor. I better get reimbursement. What a piece of crap this record is.
