Not impressed with readability.
This thermometer was a replacement for the same thermometer from the same company that was about 15 years old. The old one was damaged while work was being done on the house. This one is much harder to read because the fluid in the tube is considerably lighter. Not terribly impressed with the quality. I would probably not buy the same thermometer again.

The Discontinued Springfield Thermometer is Better
This Taylor thermometer is not easy to read. The numbers should be bigger and the background brighter to make a better contrast. My other thermometer is by Springfield and is much better. It has larger numbers and a yellow background making it easy to read. Unfortunately, Taylor acquired Springfield and discontinued that excellent thermometer and now only offer the inferior thermometer that I bought from Walmart.

Item Not As Pictured
Item sold was not as pictured. I wanted a Fahrenheit (°F) ONLY thermometer. I figured the colors were a nice touch and I have no use for Celsius (°C) readings. What I received was a black and white Celsius (°C) / Fahrenheit (°F) thermometer. I will look elsewhere. Order Number: 8692040834816
