I've played with this wedge for 5 rounds so far and I absolutely love this club. The weight of the club head feels great and really helps me shallow out my chips and let the club do the work. The grooves are amazing, I noticed considerable backspin on pitch shots and high flying chips. I rarely use my wedges for full approach shots, but tried this one a few times just to test. It's flight was perfect, backspin was predictable, and felt great off the face. Will definitely be taking more approach shots with this club.
I made the switch from Callaway's Jaws and I'm pleasantly surprised with the stopping power of my approach shots with the new Milled Grind 4 56 degree wedge. The club works great out of the green side bunkers. I also can manipulate the face to hit a variety of shots around the green!
Golfing for over 45yrs. Currently pay to a 7.6 handicap with recent low round of 68 (shooting my age) and 69. This is my 3rd Milled Grind 4 Wedge. My last Milled Grind 4 Wedge has the AEROTECH STEELFIBER 90 (S) shafts. It is currently being gamed by my son who just took up golf. My new Milled Grind 4 Wedge has the Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 5 (R). IMO I believe the Milled Grind 4 Wedge are some of the best wedges made.
Just got my TaylorMade Milled Grind 4 (MG4) 56-degree wedge, and wow – the **feel and control** are immediately apparent. Even from initial swings, it feels incredibly precise. Knowing its reputation for **spin and versatility**, I can tell this is going to be a fantastic addition to my bag and really sharpen up my short game. Definitely impressed!
I recently picked up the TaylorMade 56° and 60° wedges, and they've quickly become indispensable tools in my short game. Whether I'm attacking pins, getting out of bunkers, or controlling spin on tight lies, these wedges deliver with precision, feel, and versatility.
Just started golfing again after a very long break. Bought this club hoping to regain some feel and touch around the green. Love it. Felt confident and hit some nice shots. Hit only one bad shot, but can't really blame the club. Beautiful club, well balanced and fells good to swing.
I've been gaming the MG4 wedge for a few months now, and it's been a solid addition to my short game setup. What stands out most is the feel — incredibly soft on contact, especially around the greens. The new laser-etched spin tread design really delivers; I'm getting consistent spin even from wet lies or the rough. The control is top-notch, whether I'm hitting a full shot from 90 yards or a delicate chip just off the green. I've also noticed the added bite on flop shots and bunker plays — it gives me confidence knowing the club will react how I expect.
Coming from the HiToe 50 and 56 wasn't sure if these would be much of an improvement. The moment at ball one at my club, I could tell I was going to get on well with them. Clean balanced and the look was adding that needed confidence at address. On yardages, just perfect for the 50 at 110 yards carry and even with range balls one hop and stop. Love the groves and lowest bounce for this AZ hard terrain.
I used to exclusively use TaylorMade wedges, RAC, RAC TP, MG1 and then I switched to another very popular brand for a couple years and decided to try out TM since I heard so much positive feedback about the MG4s. My wedge feels solid, put LOTS of spin on full shots and pitches that I need to start aiming a tad farther to the hole. I'm glad I made the switch back.
Bought this hoping to improve my sand game. GREAT choice. Really great club for the sand and deeper rough around the greens. With little effort I am able to get out of traps and have more sandies in the last few weeks than I had in the previous six months. Definitely recommend this club
