Excellent feel on short chips and putts. No loss of distance compared to other balls I've used.Got more height on my tee shots. I'm sold and will be using this ball for now on.
Great next generation of Project A balls!! Great feel and control. Great distance as well. I tried a couple of sleeves last weekend and they worked out great. I will be buying more of these.
Excellent golf ball. Very good feel. Ball carries far, spins well into the wind and feels great on short shots. I am very impressed with all Tour Response characteristics.
Only Ball that I've tried over the last 2 year that I have seen a significance increase in distance (I'm not long 11 handicap and I've tried EVERY ball on the market)
The Tour Response is a great addition and move from the Project A which I loved. The new cover is the icing on the cake. And I am a fan of the yellow ball and now it is available in TP5. Unfortunately it is the swinger that matters, but when I do, I love the performance sound and feel and spin.
First time using these golf balls. Love the color. My wife can see them better when I slant a 350 straight down the pipe. I choose these balls because they are a tad cheaper than the top Taylor made brand. I will only use a ball a round before retiring it so i go through many balls. Loved the way they feel from my shockingly solid shots.
I like the Tour Response golf ball in yellow! If you look closely, it has high-quality metallic in this color. The club face impact feels just right for my <90 mph swing speed in the tee box, and approach shots with my forged irons. I switched from the Wilson Staff Model golf ball to the Tour Response, and its ball flight trajectory travels further and straighter. My new TaylorMade TP Hydro Blast Delmonte 7 putter loves this golf ball, too.
Tour Response has become my favorite golf ball. Another senior golfer I play with has also indicated the yellow Tour Response is his favorite ball. Problem has been finding them in stores. The balls play with consistently long distance and are easy to get a high flight pattern.
A fine product, but as a 74-year-old geezer (6.0 index) I was hoping to be able to compress the core more than my spindly arms are apparently capable of. I can't carry a driver more than 220 yards with this ball, but I like its spin around the green.
The short answer is this is a very good ball, and I am impressed. I was drawn to this ball because I have lost a bit of swing speed at 65 with a 5 HCP from 6000 yards and am searching for a new ball. Just cannot compress the ProV anymore. I am trying out all the balls on the market in the 70 to 75 compression range with a three layer construction. Right now, this Tour Response is in a head to head competition with one other ball, having eliminated 4 other balls. I go out on the course alone and hit several balls in a variety of conditions. Tee, 150, 125, pin side wedge and of course fairway clubs. It is easy to see the difference quickly. When 3 balls of brand X are six yards short of brand Y you can eliminate fast. Then once I get two brands, I like I play at least two rounds with them. Sometimes I play 9 holes with one and 9 holes with a second ball. There are a bunch of new balls in my shag bag, but not these Tour Response. I find these to be about 2 - 3 yards farther than the ball they are competing with mostly because the competition ball is stopping instantly on the greens and these seem to release with a bit more forward motion. And of course, there are pros and cons to that situation based on the greens being firm or soft, wet or dry and so on. Softness off the club face is very good. Trajectory for me is high and I am a lower ball striker so that is a plus. Right now, I am undecided and going to keep playing these for a few more rounds. If showed up on the first tee with only a few of these in hand I would not be disappointed and be pleased to play them. They are better than nine other balls in this compression range. Well done Taylor Made
