TaylorMade TP5 5-Layer Golf Balls, 3 oz (12 Pack)

These feel incredible, I love how soft they play while still giving great distance. Only thing I hate is how expensive they are, not because their not worth it, but because whenever I lose a ball from a bad shot I feel obligated to find it.

Where to start...I think the big thing for me is the wedge spin around the green. I like the control and predictability it gives me. Off the tee, it zips through the air and helps with hitting longer drives. Highly recommend!

Great balls, certainly more feel than ever before. More spin in the 5 than the X. Switched over from Titleist and haven't looked back. Pixels are good

So far, the 2021 TP5s are playing great. I really like the yellow color, and it seems easy to see from a distance. Hit a tree hard, then bounced a couple times on the path—not a mark on the ball. A few holes later, same ball hit a cart path pretty hard on a low trajectory—left a mark, for sure, but not unusable. Waited for a long time for the yellow balls to come out and was close to going a different direction, but very happy now that I waited!

The balls were great. I usually just grab any ball out of my bag. But when i tried the new TP5s OMG... what a difference, amazing at least 15 more yards on my distance!! Highly recommend!

As a low-handicap golfer, I was extremely impressed with the performance of the golf ball, especially with wedge and short iron shots. The ball felt soft and supple off the club face, even on chip shots around the green, which, I believe, is a unique feeling in comparison to other premium balls such as the Pro VI or a Bridgestone BXS. I was a little disappointed by the durability though, especially in comparison to its rivals at a Bridgestone and Titleist. After hitting about 10-15 wedge shots with the same golf ball, I was surprised and disappointed by how many deep scuff marks and "gashes" were made into the cover of the golf ball. Other than the slight durability issue, all around a great golf ball, especially for higher level players.

I played both TP5 and TP5X simultaneously during practice round. TP5=Softer, TP5=More slice/hook with Driver so TP5 is better choice if want to REALLY shape your driver. TP5X=Straighter with Driver with some shaping capability but not as much slice/hook as TP5. In Summary, even though I would prefer the softness of the TP5, I found the TP5X to play straighter with Driver without the excessive side spin I was experiencing with TP5.

Over all a great golf ball but quality control seems to be lacking. I had a golf ball out of a dozen with an imperfection and would effect ball flight
