I'm partial to British teas. My usual, Tetley's British Blend, has been out of stock for a while now. I picked this alternative, because my sister had sent me a Large box of Taylor's, from Amazon, for my birthday last year. Love the deeper flavor with the slightly smokey taste.
I admit it... I'm a tea snob! The first time I drank this tea, I wasn't impressed... but the next time I accidentally let it brew for longer than usual, I was in love! It really takes a minimum of 5 minutes (which is the recommended amount of time) to make it perfect... for me at least!!
I consider Taylor Tea English Breakfast the absolute very best on the market. Why? It's literally smooth. You know how folks say about different alcoholic drinks smooth? I don't drink like that so I never knew what they meant ... until I tried Taylor Tea's English Breakfast tea. Once you try it, you won't want any other make, model or brand of tea. It's like drinking smooth silk. No Joke. Not only that, its acidity is the lowest level of any tea I've ever tried. Meaning? Meaning it won't cause any gut pains or upsets at all. In fact, it's the first tea I've ever drunk that did not hurt me at all. And yes, it also makes for an exceptional iced-tea. Better than any made for iced-tea brand on the market.
My daughter recommended this tea to me as I had mentioned to her that I was finding that I wasn't enjoying the taste of coffee any more. I really didn't think I would like this tea, but figured I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! This English Breakfast tea has such a mild, satisfying taste. It is smooth and goes down easy. I highly recommend it!
I never knew this tea existed until I started watching The Mentalist TV show. Opening the box, you can smell the smokiness of it, and it's similar to a nice peeted scotch. Like the box says it's intense %26 smoky. In a good way. I'm definitely buying this again. Wood recommend.
This is a great, full bodied very British tea. It's quite strong but I am part British and can't stand the bland American teas like Tetley and Lipton that taste like dishwater to me. This is what real tea should taste like. Makes a great pot with only 2 bags and excellent ice tea as well. Only drawback is it's quite expensive but worth it (imo).
I had a opossum family problem under my house. So, I actually bought this tea for critter control, because I read that opossums don't like the smell. So I bought it, brewed a strong batch, mixed it with peppermint extract, which also has a strong smell that opossums allegedly don't like, and sprayed my homemade concoction around the outside (and underneath) the house. So far, so good. My entire family of opossums have moved on, and I didn't have to use chemicals or traps. So, yeah, happy with the tea.
I like the product. Previously I Twinings brand Lapsang. But Twinings stopped selling it some time ago. While I don't think Taylor's offering is quite as much to my taste, it's very good...and as far as I can tell, the only Lapsang available in the U.S. I love Lapang and was missing it. Thank you, Walmart!
I love the brand have been drinking their tea for years. I did not realize I was purchasing a box of teabags, not individually wrapped.. assumed I was ordering the same thing I buy at Walmart store. Taste does not stay once boxes opened cause my only issue
I love this brand and I love this blend of tea. Usually. This isn't individually wrapped like the 20 count box I usually get at Walmart so the flavor is dull and stale. It's not obvious unless you look. On top of, the tea let so much leaf dust loose it looked like a tea bag exploded inside the wrapping.
