[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice unit. It is perfect for the garage area. It works really nice and fast . The cooling system is awesome. Is definitely not for big rooms. It took about 25-30 min to cool the garage/office we have. The noise was ok , the normal noise for an A/C. It is really easy to carry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little AC is a lifesaver for small rooms! I put it in my bedroom (about 150 sq ft) and it cools things down fast. It's not whisper-quiet, but the steady hum actually makes great background noise for sleeping. Super easy to install—lightweight enough that I managed it myself with the kit that comes with it. The simple knobs are old-school but honestly, I like not having to mess with a bunch of digital settings. It's not the most energy-efficient compared to fancy models, but for the price, it does the job really well. Perfect for anyone who just wants a budget-friendly, no-fuss AC that actually cools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window air conditioner is a good value. The noise is on par with other window units. It cools very quickly, and the air output is good. Installation was the same as other window units; you have to install the side curtains. While this unit is a basic model, and is not digital, and does not have a remote, it is a great little unit for anyone who needs a window air conditioner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, I'll have to say this is one tough son of a gun. waa installing it, and my helper let go of the window and all i heard was BAM . The dang thing fell 18 foot to the ground. I just knew it was ruined but I went and got the pieces and put it back together best I could . Been using it about 3 weeks now seem to work fine not very loud cools very well . Just ask you don't look to close not near ar pretty as it was before the fall . But it works really well . I would recommend it cools good and one tough sucker .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this window AC for a couple of weeks now, and overall, I'm pretty happy with it. It's definitely on the smaller side, which makes it perfect for a bedroom or home office. Installation was pretty straightforward, and it didn't take me long to get it up and running. Once it's on, it cools the space quickly and keeps the room comfortable, even on warmer afternoons. Since it's a mechanical model, the controls are super simple—just turn the knobs and go. Honestly, I like that there's no complicated digital panel or remote to mess with. The fan is fairly quiet at low settings, though it does get a little louder on high, which is why I took off one star. It's not unbearable, just something you notice if you're trying to sleep. For the price and size, this unit does its job really well. It's a reliable little AC that cools exactly the way I need it to, without any fancy extras. If you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly option to beat the heat, this is a solid pick!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic A/C unit that works very well. It was very heavy to handle, so a second person was needed to lift and install. All the paperwork was clear and easy to understand. The nobs, fan fins, and inside casing are thick plastic. The mechanics and outside are strong metal. The quality was very good. When initially turning the unit on, there was a plastic odor that eventuality dissipated. It cooled quickly and worked well for extended periods of time, especially while being used in a fairly large master bedroom in the south. The noise level was quite loud but was a smooth, calming hum, at least. Having a fan feature is nice, but using the A/C options was better for this compact unit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this AC unit free from Influenster and TCL, in exchange for my honest review! It's a pretty solid unit. Easy to set up and works like a charm. For a decent price point, it's hard to beat. It cools rather well, even with it not being at max cool. The filter is easy to remove and clean. The only downsides I've seen: straight out of the box, dented condenser and it does have some noise to it. But most AC's do. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an AC!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little nervous with this being a mini ac unit but was pleasantly surprised by the power. We have this unit in a large room, roughly 4-500 sq ft & it has no problem cooling the area even on the low setting. It does give off a slightly lower noise level compared to larger units we have had, but still sounds like an ac unit, we enjoy the white noise so it works well for us. Don't let the size of this unit deter you, it is a great option and we still have it in a full size window. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the knobs feel pretty cheap, I am afraid they are going to snap off sometimes when changing the settings. We don't have to keep this unit running 24/7 so we are turning it off every now and then, it has no problems starting back up right away & providing instant cooling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a no frills, effective, and affordable window AC for a small space, the TCL 5,000 BTU Mini Mechanical is a smart pick. It cools well, installs easily, and is reliable and very energy efficient. Just be prepared for a bit of noise at higher speeds and ensure it fits your window dimensions and space needs.
