TCL H5P44W BTU SACC (8,500 BTU ASHRAE) Smart Portable Air Conditioner Fan and Dehumidifier

I'm a hot sleeper so Ive been using the fan setting in my bedroom, and my utility bill has seriously gone down because I don't have to turn the whole ac on.

It also has an application for your phone so that's nice. I would say it's not loud. It was able to cool my room in like 10 minutes and you're able to set it so we would turn off on its own so it's energy efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This portable AC is totally fetch!! The insulation was so easy. Our upstairs room gets so hot, especially in the summer. Just adding this sweet baby to our room makes a whole world of difference. The remote control is very easy to navigate. We love it! It makes our sleep at night much more relaxing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is amazing! Easy to set up and powerful! Ability to be a cooling or heating system. Vents open up when in use and can move up and down to push air out. If using the heater portion then we will have to periodically drain the system.

It has wheels, which made it easy to move on the hardwood floors and handles which made picking it up when I got to the carpet easy. It blows nice cold air in AC mode and ran efficiently until I got to the set temperature. Fan mode gives you 2 speed options. Dry mode gives you cold AC and a dehumidifier, a valuable advantage in the swampy area I live in. A timer allows you to “set it and forget it” if you don't want it running when no one is home. The handy remote means you can tuck the small unit in the corner and adjust the settings from the couch or bed. The instructions for installation were very easy, the filter is washable and easy to get to and the drain plug is also easily accessible. My windows are only 30 inches wide and the window installation kit was slightly wider than that at its smallest, so we had to adjust a little, so take that into account. I would also suggest that raising the AC off the ground a little bit— we used 2 pieces of plywood- will make it easier to drain the water from the dehumidifier.

Everything is included in the box that you will need for the install as well. This produces a very quiet “white noise”, just enough to help you sleep. Energy efficient, yes, although I haven't received my electric bill since using it. I'm just going off what the box says (see photo). Very happy with this product. I may have to make additional purchases in the future.

The smart features are super convenient and I can turn it on from my phone before I even get home. It's energy-efficient and easy to use, Only downside is it's not super quiet, but the steady hum is manageable. For the price and performance, it's one of the best ACs you can get for small LA spaces.
