It's nice enough but a Roku tv is kind of annoying to use I can't just jump to another HDMI or an app I gotta go to the "home" menu and then select it. I don't like how all the ports are on one side but it's pretty good for a 50" tv I probably couldn't get better at this price.
Amazing TV for the price. Bought one for friend. Hooked it up for them. Turned around and bought one for me! The picture quality is amazing. Nicer than my 65 inch Samsung. Comes with a USB port to put a memory stick so you can utilize the pause play of live TV. Comes with Roku . Great price for this TV
There is a lot of TVs in the market was hard to choose from with a decent price, looking at the reviews i decided to purchase this item. Was easy fast and sufficient and delivered in promise time. The TV itself its perfect nothing wrong with it was easy to assemble just had to screw in the legs, sound is perfect. First time purchasing tv with Roku very easy to set up and very easy to navigate, If i was gonna purchase another TV i would purchase it again especially for the quality for the price u pay
This is a very nice TV for the price. Are there better 4KTV's out there? Absolutely. But this is a great buy, worth its price. It's 4K with HDR, a built in Roku, an easy remote (that can be replaced for less than $10 if you lose it). It was so easy to set up right out of the box, however the tape/film around the screen was really hard to peel off in places. I already had a Roku account, so setting this up took about 10-15 minutes with updates and loading-on channels. The reason I went with this TCL Roku TV over another, cheaper brand was I heard the sound on this TV was much better, fuller than most TVs--and it doesn't disappoint. I have this in an average-sized bedroom and the sound is fantastic (not tinny, distorted, and no static or crackles). If I had this set up in a small living room, I think the speakers would be perfectly adequate, but for a medium to large living room, it would need a sound bar or surround sound set-up to carry through the room. The screen is bright and crisp (the only tweak to the picture I made was to turn the brightness down). This is my first 4KTV to replace a broken bedroom TV and I am not disappointed. I've researched 4KTV's for over a year for a dedicated home theater (not happening yet because of renovations), and a newer version of this TV was on my radar for awhile. This was a spur-of-the-moment buy and low-cost was the most important factor, then sound, and brand. I hooked up a 4K UHD Blu-ray player and an AppleTV 4K streaming box. Streaming in 4K is great. On Vudu, you can easily toggle a movie you own between 4K UHD, HDX, and SD and the differences between the two high-definition formats (to me, at least) are huge. On this TV, I would say that the AppleTV's streaming of 4K content is slightly better than Roku's, but the different is really negligible; and the AppleTV channel is included on the TV so you can access your Apple content without having another box and remote around. It is playing 4K UHD Blu-rays on the TV that blow anything streamed out of the water, the clarity and colors are nothing short of brilliant! I put in 4K blu-ray discs of Planet Earth II and Blue Planet II, and it was jaw-droppingly stunning! Several other movies were just as amazing. I also played the 4K disc of Gemini Man (filmed at a high-frame rate) and the TV handled it brilliantly, though the HFR was not exactly my cup of tea--too fluid and "live" looking. I would recommend this TV to anyone. For the price, features, and quality: it simply cannot be beat!
Recently purchased this TV about a week ago, picture looks nice and it's very easy to set up. My only concern was with shipping. It ships in the actual TV box so when it was delivered and left on the front porch while away, I was nervous about someone driving up and taking it.
very good! delivery was super quick. (3 days) impressed with the quality of the picture. light weight makes it easy to put on a stand. good sound. hope my husband likes his surprise! we love samsung, but this is just as impressive. It makes a good comparison, maybe a step down from the lovely samsung products, but for the price and quality, I'm impressed and very pleased. Look at detail in photos I took.
The quality of this product was fantastic for the price!!! Works great picture is amazing and liked it so much i bought a second one highly recommended!
The tv is great. Works smoothly, good picture quality with an amazing price. My only issue is that I was unable to use my amazon prime account in connection with roku, it didn't give me the option to sign in on it. Otherwise, this is really a great TV.
to set up call TCL because there are scammers that hack the ROKU website and they might try to charge in order to activate the TV. it is free activation, the phone number is on the manual.
Easy set up , but not impressed with the picture quality , I always give honest reviews, and hope others would do so all so , the picture is not clear , and crisp , it is kind of ghosty looking
