TCL 5.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer, White, Garage Ready, CF053W

The the packaging this comes in is garbage and barely protects the freezer. No styrofoam in the front or back and only two plastic straps holding the box together (one of mine broke). So I can see how these arrive damaged. I'm in NYC and FedEx delivery is good in my area so I took a chance. Glad I did! The freezer is huge but not horribly heavy, and after letting it sit upright for almost 24hrs (never skip this step with fridges/freezers you don't know how they were shipped) I plugged it in and it was ready in only 2 hrs. I have it on 5 and it freezes ice cubes in under an hour even though it's 2/3 full. It also slides pretty easily across my hardwood floor, so I don't anticipate any difficulty cleaning around it. It does have a small (maybe 1cm?) dent on the front of the lid. But for the price and free delivery I'll let that go. Hope my review helps someone out there :)

I haven't had any issues so far. It's as described. It'll be sitting in my garage unattended for 6 months so we will see how everything holds up after I get back.

We ordered online because I had $20 credit towards freezer and it was already discounted arrived in 2 days we were surprised at the space inside it seemed bigger than what was advertised but has been working great and might add very lightweight and easy to move

Arrived on time. Well protected packaging, no scratches or dents. Been running for about two weeks with no issues. It has iced up a little, so I am watching to see if this becomes an issue. Not excessive frost. Runs super quite. It is in my small kitchen, and I never hear it running. So far very happy with purchase.

the size is great for our space. but it did arrive with damaged corner. fed ex driver bumped it on the ground when he was getting it out of the truck

The fridge works great and it cools down good. exempt it came with a big dent on the side of it. The fedex driver literally dropped it off as a state it on their report. i don't know if i should keep it or ship it back.

I think the price reflected the condition, I believe Walmart new it was a scratch and dent sale but did not advertise it as that . Two Small dents on the corner and on dent near the bottom by the motor. Plugged it in last night , seems to be running ok, time will tell ? If I was told it was a minor defect , I would have been ok with it, It was a awesome price which beat out both Temu and Amazon. You can see the picture how it was pieced together with a different piece of cardboard sorta of crushed on one side.

It arrived broken and dented no I didn't receive a refund I requested they pick it up and replace it and they didn't the photo the delivery guy sent me the box had whole all through it when I opened it their was dents all over the item it didn't work when plugging it in I'm a YouTuber I did an unboxing video and that's what I got just terrible they kept my money and never sent me a new product

I ordered this deep freezer and it arrived really damaged. Walmart refused to send someone to pick it up and return it. they said I had to figure out how to get it to the nearest store which was almost an hour away. frickin crazy to spend that much money on a item for it to arrive broken then have to spend more money, time, and my own gas to return the broken item they sent. stick with Amazon. they stand by their items and shipping and returns

Freezer stopped working in less than a week. Lost hundreds of dollars of food and meat that had thawed. Followed setup instructions exactly. Just stopped freezing after a few days. Super disappointed. Will be reaching out to TCL, and will update if good service is provided.
