I got this TV to replace another smaller TV in my office. I decided that I was cutting the cord to cable and going to all streaming, however, my previous TV wasn't a smart version. This did the trick!! Now I can watch Netflix and Hulu in my office in the background while I work. The sound quality is excellent, as well as the picture. It was really easy to set up and I am incredibly happy with my decision. Now I just need to get a larger TV stand to accommodate this monster!
I wall mounted this tv in my game room where kids watch most of the time. The mounting was pretty easieras its smaller and with all the tools it took about 20 minutes. I didn't expect the picture quality to be same as my other branded tv but when I turned it on, the quality was perfect. I also liked the smart tv options but sometimes I am noticing some audio-visual non- sync. Not sure if its because of internet or some other problem but overall this is a good quality smart tv with lots of options. Other thing I liked is the simple remote with a few buttons but lots of options. That makes it user friendly even kids can use it without messing up with options. Its perfect for my game room. Hope it stays the same for long time.
It's the best ever perfect size and quality tv I have ever owned.. Not only is it way more affordable than my last Vizio smart tv I had ....but it's way way better....I love the nice sound....perfect picture.. Clear hd picture.....the size and sound gives me a full on THEATER Feel in my own home....I mounted on my wall...it mounted perfectly If your looking for a TV....look no more....you must get this tv Way more app selections....no more having to use my fire stick... I just am in love with this tv....and know you will love it to ... You get way more quality for the low price ..it's amazing
Never owned a Smart TV but did own a smart DVD player, thought I'd give this one a try. Sadly found out that you need smart everything in order to hook up to this TV which is good since I do have a smart DVD player and a Roku device. lol Then again you also need a good internet hook up with fast speed which it might be better if your TV is hooked up directly to the router/internet connection found that out the hard way. You will need at least 5g otherwise you will get disconnected quite a bit. Navigating around the system is a bit tricky which makes me rethink just going back to a regular TV and just use my Roku and/or smart DVD player, less of a headache. Set up isn't too bad but just too many ways to get lost and it's not easy to just remove an app that you no longer want. But all in all you get what you paid for and is still a good TV.
So I'd like to start out by saying that this has a very nice picture and good sound! Does it compare to a 1500 to $3,000 TV? No but for what you get it's well worth it. The first thing I had a problem with was just trying to get it to work without having to sign up for the Roku. I spent probably about close to an hour to get it to work by researching on Google how to do it. The problem is once you connect to Wi-Fi the whole TV doesn't update and it's hard to get it back to where it was and it's original state so if you want to operate this TV without signing up for Roku then do it right in the beginning and don't do an update to the TV. Now as far as the picture goes, I tweaked my picture by adding a little more color a little more brightness and I made it look way better in my opinion than what came from the factory as you can see in the picture how nice it looks! Also the TV is pretty thin and not real bulky. In the end I would recommend this TV. For the price and the quality they definitely go hand in hand and I don't think you will go wrong.
The walmart delivery driver had this tv in a small sedan car, half in the trunk and half in the cab. It was screen down with other walmart delivery boxes on top. After unboxing it, I spotted scuff marks on the lower right corner, along the bottom, the along the left side and from the corner about three inches in along the top. Most of these spots should've been encased in the hard foam packaging that TV's are delivered in. The marks almost look like fingerprints but, using a camera lens cleaning cloth they would not clear. I have no idea what caused the marks but, would like a replacement. Only now that the sale is over and the item is sold out I doubt that is a choice. Receiving a screen with scuff marks is a major let down. I had high hopes to enjoy this yet, this is another Black Friday sale where Walmart has ruined my purchase. Last year I bought three of the same 75" TV's at seperate times and all three were in beat to death boxes. I didn't even try to remove them and see what the damage was inside. Only had the choice to return, not exchange. Walmart is desperately in need of hiring warehouse, store and delivery driver employees that take pride in what they do, are knowledgeable and take care of the merchandise. It should be common knowledge that you should never lay a flat screen with the screen down and never stack boxes on top. That's just asking for trouble. Buyer beware, you are better off picking something like a TV up yourself. That doesn't guarantee that it wasn't damaged in a 18 wheelers trailer in commute. I've worked on a dock and have seen TV's not secured in Walmart trailers that were tossed around like a deck of cards. Ive also seen a TV that had a unsecured canoe pierced in it resembling a dart in a dartboard. In the past the DFW walmart warehouse did not care how they loaded a trailer, that may still be the case. Remember you take your chances when you order high dollar TV'S. In this day and age, no one is going to take more care of your purchase than yourself.
Very nice sturdy looking TV with lots of apps to offer, however, it has a common issue that i found out about after purchase. The HDMI ports are faulty and seems do not work especially to connect with cable boxes. No updates from TCL issued for a few years to this matter. Will have to return. Only had it 1 day.
bought this tv for my 89 yr old grandmother for the black friday deal that was early for plus members on 11/7/22. picked up tv today (11/9/22). upon opening the box and plugging tv in screen is already broken somewhere called walmart CS and was told an exchange is not an option either refund or use the warranty i paid for. why would i want to use a warranty on something that was broken from the start. They apparently are selling broken tvs as ive seen other reveiws like this do not buy this! it is an extreme headache. my gram will now be without a tv for an extended period. i was told by tcl if theres any sign that damage was done by store it voids their warranty. just avoid the headache. Trust me. pic is screen from straight out of box.
I bought this on early bird black Friday for $188. I have 3 other smaller TLC's and love them, so I couldn't wait for a new big TV for the family room. I picked it up from the store, drove home, took it out of the box and set it up. It was late but I couldn't wait to try it out! Wish I would have waited so I could have slept better! The color was really dark and it was on the brightest setting, and it wasnt responding to the remote right. It starting jumping around on the apps, then a computerized voice starting reading everything outloud! I couldn't get it to stop unless I muted it. I finally got a movie on, and it would play, then pause off and on, over and over! I changed the remote batteries and nothing. I finally unplugged it! Now it will not even turn on. Now I have to load it back into my car, drive an hour, return it because they're sold out, and be without a TV. What a joke!
Absolutely disappointed. Didn’t even get to unwrap the television and it arrived broken. As if someone had sat on it before sending it? I contacted Walmart customer service and they cannot offer a replacement only a refund. And don’t bother trying to use the “12 month protection” from purchase because it’s nearly impossible to get to where you can speak with someone. If I could give -1 stars with my experience I would.
