I've had the 32” version for awhile and wanted a larger one. The picture is really good, I like that all the streaming apps are right there when you turn it on, easy setup, connects to the WiFi quickly, loads quickly, for the price this a wonderful TV
This 55 inch TCL smart Roku tv has an excellent picture. The size is great and was super easy to set up. I am familiar with Roku products but it makes life so much easier when you don't have a Roku box attached to your tv and its already loaded onto the tv. The remote works great and its very smooth to press the buttons. There is no lagging to switch apps. This tv was very easy to mount on the wall. I have little ones so I like to keep things out of their reach so I did not try the legs but they seem like they would be sturdy. I love that this tv works with Alexa and can work with voice control if I don't have the remote handy. This Tv has 4 HDMI ports so you don't have to keep unplugging game systems which is a huge plus in my house with 4 kids. I am highly impressed with the picture and features of this Roku smart tv. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great quallity, easy to us TV.
Got this for the Black Friday deal. I absolutely love it! The picture is great and so is sound. It's extremely light weight so it was easy to hang on wall. I really like that the roku is built right in. The remote works great as well. Thinking about purchasing another for my mom.
We are loving our Roku 55 Smart TV! Image crystal clear, perfect size so easy to set up, we enjoy Netflix, Hulu, Roku, regular channels YouTube in one place! Great design extra light weight well packaged Delivery was flawless. Definitely recommended brand of TV There are a lot in the market but Roku Exceeded our expectations in quality, design, weight, size, and performance.
The TV set up was EZ and the remote is very simple. I like the Roku built in as it is very convenient. The picture is pretty good though not quite as clear as my Samsung. The price of the TCL was less than half the price of the Samsung. It is a great buy for the money. Sound quality reasonable.
saw the ad for this a couple weeks ago at $300 but i already have an onn 43" 4k roku tv i got last year for $178. then this week saw this tv for $228 but would be available for purchase on fri @5am. somehow I was able to make the purchase on Thursday at 12:30pm from the app and said it would be delivered on Friday to my house but on the listing it said store pickup available only so was a bit confused about that. Friday morning came and received a random knock on my door from a nice older couple delivering my 55" tv in the back of their van so i had no idea Walmart gave delvery jobs to locals at all. would have been nice to know that was a thing instead of expecting a ups or fedex truck because there was no tracking number given. however the new tv works great just like my onn 43" 4k tv i had for over a year now and glad i was able to get this deal. :)
I really give this TV a 3.7. Taking 1.3 for slow and clunky roku. For the money get it but if you can hold off for Samsun do it. If another deal comes around I will consider it. Only had it a day...this is my thoughts so far. If you aren't controlling things from a console of some sort you won't get the most out of this TV. Love being able to hook up my Switch, Nvidia Shield, Xbox SX, and PS5. For the price absolutely awesome. It is lame they didn't put in beefy enough tech onboard...still it is functional and by far the best TV value I have encountered. I bought the 5 year warranty. I have yet not to need it.
I just looked at the reviews on this TV and lots are 1 star reviews. I'm sorry you all have had a bad experience, but my experience is completely different. The colors are vibrant, the brightness is perfect, and the TV overall runs smoothly. I've had this TV for a few weeks now and it's been great. Sure, it's cheap and could be a lot better, but at $228, you can't beat it. I don't know how good the speakers are because I use a sound bar, so I can't speak for those saying it sounds bad. Overall, this TV is worth the buy at $228 and is worth $300. It's no LG or Samsung, but it's better than a lot of no-name brands.
The list price on the TCL website is $228. You'll notice the Walmart ad didn't say it was a discount price. I got it on early access, but had to refresh the screen because it said "deal did not last" for about the 1st couple minutes of the Black Friday sale. Just a bottom of the line unit. it's super light which makes you wonder what kind of parts it has. No obvious mounting holes or instructions
Received TV from store pickup in a wet, water damaged, and musty smelling box. Should have been my first sign. Decided to take it home and try it out anyway. immediately noticed bad blacklight bleeding with an especially bad spot in the lower left hand corner. Issues aside, picture quality was not very impressive. Even at the price point, you should probably stay away from this one. Put the extra money into a higher quality set that will last.
