TCL - 55" Class 5-Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Google TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tv 3 months ago and love it. Streams 4K content great (Dolby Vision). Picture quality is great (QLED). No issues navigating the google tv apps.

Make tweaks to the picture settings and this is the best TV out there for your money. The value can't be beat. Dolby and full local dimming. Have this set up with my Xbox X and it is beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV last year and I've been enjoying it with minimal issues. For instance, very rarely the Audio will stop working, I just turn it off completely and turn it back on and it works fine. I've had no other issues to date.

I wish the Roku version would have been in stock as I have the Google version and the functionality of the Google interface is unpredictable most of the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost a year old. Hardware is flaky sometimes - volume issues, startup issues, slashing screen issues. Google TV is still slow and buggy. Cluttered interface requires many clicks to do simple tasks. Cable remote not compatible with TCL TV, but we rarely use cable any more. Picture and sound are OK- certainly good enough for me. Brightness is amazing. After many months living with the slow interface, we use an external dongles much of the time because they are faster and has better interface. Definitely would not purchase again.

Love that it gives you an indication of what type of video your watching (HDR10, Dobly Visoin) Google account is missing some key features found in competing google displays Audio sync issues Very sluggish unless you turn off quick start, however, that means the power on can take around 30 seconds Other remotes cant learn this tv even ones i had on the last years version of the roku model No updates after a year to fix issues. Very close to a 4.5 even closer to a 4 if we can get some software updates. Cant recommend, even with large discounts, this until some of these are fixed
