TCL 65" Class 5-Series 4K UHD QLED Dolby Vision HDR Smart Google TV - 65S546

I bought this as secondary TV for our bedroom. Our main TV is a high end OLED and I figured this TV would be Meh. I was shocked when I did the calibration and the Picture Quality closely matched the Sony X900E it replaced. I made sure to do all the firmware updates and dial in the picture before I passed any judgements and I could not be happier. Our old Sony 900E was an android tv so I was already used to the Google TV OS and found it snappy and responsive. I honestly don't know why some users have trashed this TV in reviews? if they didn't get a good panel or if they never bothered to make picture adjustments and update the software or if they just set their expectations way to high for what at the end of the day is a budget television. I paid $550 for a 65' TV and it performs like a TV twice or more that price very very happy!

If you want this tv to watch movies and cartoons great, but if you want a tv good for gaming get something with 120Hz. Great HDR mode, way better than vivid. Between this tv and a 55" 120hz model, I chose this 65" 60 Hz instead. Get the Q6 series, not the Q5. TCL 65" 60hz Q5, i should have gotten the 120 hz 55" instead of this one. Great picture, great sound, image processing is a little buggy. Get the Q6 instead of the Q5 model, less glitchy and more control over lighting zones. QLED is awesome

The box came destroyed, it didn't look like a new item.

Noticed the screen damaged as soon as powered on. Physically looks ok from outside but the display screen inside is all messed up. Returned back to Walmart

TV arrived broken. Its been a big hassle to receive a replacement TV. Still waiting for one....Not sure how to get this huge TV back in the box to return it to Walmart.

Not 120hz and its not noted ANYWHERE!!!
