I got this for a remarkably reasonable price on BF 2023. I already had a 55" version of this TV and couldnt find a 65" tv that i liked for a reasonable price (Hisense U7 was about $250 more expensive and same for the TCL Q7 at the time). The performance of this TV (TCL 65R646) is about as good as both of those TVs, perhaps a touch better or worse in some categories but largely similar to slightly better performance. If you have an opportunity to purchase this TV for under $600, take it - best value you'll get in a TV these days. Great for movies and TV, awesome Dolby Vision performance, Atmos output is great, and it performs well in dark rooms and bright rooms alike - shockingly good contrast in a dark room if that is one of your concerns (great native and enhanced contrast were at the top of my list and this TV does not disappoint)
I shopped around extensively and Wal-Mart was hands down the best price. Let's not forget about the picture quality of TV.
Great picture quality for good price
I've had my series 6 for a little over a year and it functions perfectly. Excellent picture quality. Sound is good too. I don't use the sound bar anymore unless we are watching a DVD. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Also bought a series 4 43" for the bedroom. As a 43" it works pretty good in the smaller space but I would definitely go to a series 6 for the living room.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best TV I have ever owned it has picture quality and is great for gaming It also had an HDMI port that enhances Dolby vision and Dolby audio I definitely recommend this TV I give it 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for almost 2 years now and everybody is still amazed by the picture. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and since then have bought other TCL televisions for myself and family....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this in October of 2021 and from day one I was impressed with the picture quality. It's incredibly sharp, bright and clear. The software started out needing significant improvements and I am happy that, over the year, those improvements were made. Today, I can say that the software had matured to match the impressiveness of the display.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Google TV. My previous TCL Roku developed internal cracks on the screen :-( The Google TV is very glitchy, at times I have to fully reboot the TV, otherwise I don't get any content shown in the home page, just empty boxes are shown. When turned on, it's good. Clarity etc are good. Google interface is content centric and aggregates shows based on provider/Apps installed. Whereas the Roku TV was app centric. You select the app and then see what content is available
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall a really great picture for the price. Super bright display as well. Google tv operating system is sometimes sluggish and glitchy though. Overall very happy with the tv.
I still don't have it. I should be refunded my shipping costs.
