TCL 7.0 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer, White, Garage Ready, CF073W

I needed a mini freezer, went online to purchase a smaller one 3.5 cubic; however, I ended up getting the 7.0 cubic for less than a 3.5! Like most here, it arrive with a few minor dents, which doesn't bother me, as it is in my garage, and for the price, I'm not complaining. However, as far as the condition these freezer are arriving in: it doesn't have to do with FedEx or Walmart! I watched FedEx driver take if of the truck and bring it to my garage. He didn't drop it, nor was he man handling it! These freezers are getting damaged because the packing process! Mine had two plastic straps wrapped around the box. I cut them open, then opened the top lid, and started pulling up, and the entire box lifted off! The box had a false bottom! The freezer was placed on a thick piece of styrofoam, which was held in the box by the two plastic straps! If that wasn't bad enough, the styrofoam that was used to protect the sides, front %26 back: are worthless! They are way to thin! What I noticed with my freezer, was that the dents were caused by the straps, due to no bottom, poor packing materials. When the item was picked up by the straps tighten to keep the freezer from falling out. This put undone pasture on freezer, causing the dents. Mine does a small dent in the back, where the straps tightened and pushed so hard on electrical that it dented it. The same with front. In all my years of working for a Fortune 500 company, similar to Best Buy's, and as a customer, I have never seen a product packed like this, NEVER an appliance! Please, stop blaming FEDEX! It's not the delivery company! Again, it's the manufacture using cheap packing materials in order to save costs. As for the freezer. After I placed it in garage, I cleaned the inside and outside. I left the lid up and waiting 7 hours before I plugged it in and set the temperature. I was surprised at how quiet it is. I actually checked it 1/2 hour to make sure it was working. I got up early this morning and it's cold! I did put some items in it this morning. I will be adding more products this afternoon, as I did minimal grocery shopping right before I purchased this. I waited for the sale. So today: I'll be starting to fill her up! It you can get over a few minor dents, I definitely recommend this product!

I love the lid stays open and the green ON light in front. I bought two baskets for inside the main part and stacked them for easier access to lower stuff I just lift the baskets. Much more efficient than upright. Nice looking, lightweight for moving, and very efficient.

What is there to say. It's a freezer and it works. I was delivered by Estes. I was contacted by the driver about 20 minutes before he arrived. He was very courteous and placed it by the garage door as I asked. There was zero damage to my unit and I'm very pleased with my freezer

it was damaged in delivery and only one pic sent to you i need to send the others you can see the bent corner where the box was torn off my porch has no steps and if the guy was not honest and came to tell me it was delivered to his proch and showed my brother the damage so they took picks and i have signs up around my gate my address and on my mail box next i guess ill have them spray paint yhe road with it and make it glow in the dark there only about 8 place on this road and only two have fences and as far as i know im the only one with a gate on this road as short as it is but if the freezer works im fine with the dents in it but they need to respect the things we order at least they have a job i have had a few small things not even make it i didnt say anything about it and some have had tears in them where it could have fell out but i just ordered to smart tvs but im having my son pick them up today because of the freezer not saying your delivery people that bring stuff has messed up im thankful for them they are nice and sweet and i know when i order large orders ill try to make smaller orders but more of them so it want be so hard on them and when my brother can he will help all this stuff is new to me and im in a hospital bed so im thankful for the help it makes it a lot easier on people like me and women who have small children so im thankful for these services

I wouldn't recommend this product because there's ice buildup in the corners on top of the freezer between the door and the box! returning this item is a headache!

The much anticipated freezer delivery just arrived. It's not even in my home for five minutes before my husband said “look down”. Lo and behold ! A very sizable dent underneath a cardboard cover held together with clear tape. Our hopes for an intact freezer were dashed. We took a gamble purchasing this item. We thought this company would have rectified the continued complaints of dented appliances that are brand new. We will be letting it settle until tomorrow before plugging it in. I will update this comment, should it need updating, tomorrow. To the higher ups: do better. If you are receiving multiple complaints regarding dents on brand new appliances, look into the matter. Don't send some stock answer passing the buck; just fix the problem.

This freezer never actually kept things frozen. Did for about a month but then started to notice items near the top were not as solid as the ones a the bottom. Then at three months of owning it, the whole things stopped working. Walmart refused to take it back because it was outside the 90 day window... DO NOT ORDER!

Received a damaged freezer 17 Mar25. Called customer service 5 times regarding pick up of damaged item 17 mar-16 April every 4-5 days after every representatives resolution did not happen. You can never speak to supervisor . Now I receive an email stating I can't return the item nor receive a refund for freezer %26 protection plan. Out $250.00.

I am reaching out for the third time regarding my damaged and stained freezer purchase. Upon its arrival, I contacted customer service immediately, and while I was assured that someone would follow up, I never received any communication. On my second attempt, I was offered a 20% discount to keep the item, which I accepted due to the difficulty of returning it. However, I did not receive the promised refund; instead, I received an email indicating that I had requested a return to the store, which I find both disappointing and misleading.

I was so excited when my freezer was delivered I opened it right away when I opened it. I noticed that the latches on the back were been out of place, and also the bottom corner is damaged. but I said I will just look over it, these are minor cosmetic errors.. BUT then when I went to plug my freezer into the wall and looked at the power cord, I noticed that the wire was damaged ! I immediately reached out to Walmart for a replacement because I cannot plug this freezer into the wall with the wire damaged like this and potentially blow circuits. However, Walmart told me that someone would come back and pick it up within five days and then I can order another one. No one has reached out to me to come pick up this damaged item. Also, when I try to call Walmart, again today , I was transferred around multiple times and then disconnected on. Very unhappy with this product as well as the customer service that I am receiving in regarding to this product that I thought would be a good fit for me and my family but ultimately is not negative star is all around the board.
