I've noticed a lot of bad reviews is due to the 3rd party shipping company damaging TVs. We actually had zero issues with delivery in fact the delivery driver was keeping an eye on the neighbor and insisted on bringing the TV inside for us and having us look it over for damage. the tv itself is awesome just look up reviews for the model number to see how well it does for the money. an excellent mid tier TV for under 1000!
The TCL Q7 is one of the best TVs you can get at this price point. The main draw for me was the native 120 hz refesh rate (though it can get up to 144 hz through AI enhancement) along with Dolby Vision, as I mainly use this TV for gaming on my Xbox series X. Speaking of my Xbox, it works seemlessly with the TV as theres a setting you can enable that allows the TV to turn on and switch to the correct HDMI when you turn on your console, meaning no more forgetting which HDMI your consoles plugged into and having to finick with the remote just to play some video games. The Google platform used for the Q7 also performs above and beyond my expectations, as most streaming services you might use on a daily basis will be preinstalled if you chose to log in with your gmail. On a seperate note, I had previously ordered the exact same model of TV through Amazon, but it was cracked after the delivery guys dropped it on my porch, despite there being 2 of them as opposed to the single person sent by Walmart (it was actually Maersk/Pilot Frieght, through Walmart) which I was extremely impressed by due to the steep slope of a driveway he had to bring it down. Anyways, Id give it 10 stars if I could.
Aint used it yet but i havent had any isues with the brand and this is earc ready for my nakamichi soundbar setup
amazing picture quality. moves smooth. and love i can connect my bluetooth buds for quiet watching without disturbing our baby.
Love the tv. 2nd times a charm. 1st one sent had a fork truck hole through back of tv, rejected the shipment. The second one came across the U.S. with no damage. Great picture quality, it's like the people on tv are in the room with me.
Impressive quality, picture is better than I ever expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought it as a suggestion from Best Buy store employee. I usually by Samsung TVs. When I brought it price was around $1,100 about $300-$400 off, I have had had numerous problems but I think they have resulted from me not being properly instructed on connecting my devices to unit. I was told connect to HDMI 3 when I think my Sony Receiver should have been connected to HDMI 4. I have had numerous sound issues when have been blamed on my HDMI cables. I have connected optical at times because TV was not playing through receiver and speakers. Today is the first day I've connect my receiver to HDMI 4. The price has dropped and is surely worth the price it is now at. I may never again buy a TCL without an extended warranty because I have been told they do not last like other TVs.
The TV itself is great. However, we're very disappointed about the delivery. It was stated that a signature would be required when delivered. My TV was sitting against my garage door where everyone could see it. No one knocked on the door to tell me it was there. I work from home so I would have heard it. Someone else came to my door to ask if I knew it was outside. It could have fallen got damaged or stolen. I couldn't believe it was left like that .
Quality wasn't good I placed my order it took me two weeks to receive , when I unboxed it the screen was broken! It was returned two days later now it's been another week no credit no tv!
box was damaged in two spots one on top where the strap to pallet was way to tight, and one on front of the box like something puncheed through. will return if it is damaged inside but have to wait till someone gets here to help hang it.
