We bought a 65 inch a year ago and fell in love with TCL Roku Tvâs. Perfect combination of simple and smart. We love the preview of dvd player or game console if another device is on. Highly recommend! Also got this 75 inch for an awesome deal on rollback for $799. Cant beat it! We are very pleased and hope to eventually replace all of our tvâs with Roku
It’s big. I think it’s too big to watch normal TV. The husband loves it so it was a big win for me. Great quality, crisp picture, love the Roku system, and the kids love watching Big Hero 6 on it.
This TV has made me enjoy television more! It's like having a movie theater in whatever room you put it in! I LOVE THIS.
The TV is actually very nice. Very large but my wife loves it. I have it "hard-wired" now. But, initially I was using Wi-Fi. The TV was only about 15 feet from the Router but the picture would get chunky and I would occasionally get the wait indicator while on YoutubeTV. I came to believe that either the wifi antenna in the TV is not that great or mine was just faulty. Nonetheless, thank God it works very well with Ethernet cable cause this TV is HEAVY!!! I just assumed that since most flat panel TV's these days are easily manageable by one person that this one would easy with 2 people; it was not. After all was said and done, I am happy with my purchase. The picture is very nice and the Roku Smart app is very nice to have built in since it prevents having a bunch of unwanted hardware lying around.
Bought 75" roku tv in March 2020 and the screen just stopped working jan 2021 even after every possible attempt to reset and fix it, it still does not work, not even a years worth of use and now I have to go fork out another $900 to $1500 for another one,
Make sure you get a warranty. Our television last a whole 14 months and went out.
Black Light Issues! Had the TV for 6 months and I only get a black screen when powered on! Went on youtube for a fix..... seems like a half a million people have the same problem with this junk model! 2nd Roku TV I purchased and a second one going in the trash! TCL/ROKU should be ashamed putting this garbage out! I'm out $900.00 for a 6 month crap tv!
Picture quality was good, but the sound is way to low. You literally have to put it at 75 to hear it well but it’s understandable because it only has 10w speakers so it’s best to have it connected to a sound bar. The lack of 120 refresh rate is well display when watching live sports all you see is a blurry player running back and forth. But this isn’t a $1500 tv so you get what you pay for and in this care $700 is what you get. 4K content not so great the picture is dark and not as sharp as it should be, and after many adjustments same thing. Is this tv worth the purchase yes if you want low quality and a big size TV then yes. But if you are looking for a great 4K tv experience then no. You will be disappointed in the sound and picture quality. My suggestion is to wait it out save a few extra hundreds and but a better TV. I did return this tv and got a different brand and the difference is night and day.
I had purchased two of these TCL - 75" Class 4 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV at the same time. One lasted 42 days and the other one 87 days, both the exact same issue, black screen no video. I was lucky enough with the first one in that I was able to return it and send it off for repair to eventually have it replaced with a new one, however after the second one stopped working I had to work with TCL support and the lowest bidder for local on site repair. Long story short, I bought a new LG 75 after dealing with that. Please avoid this purchase; I am kicking myself now for not reading the bad reviews. As I rarely write reviews and only post when I either insanely love or despise something, I am posting this review out of my own personal ignorance for not doing better research on my purchase. This is not a seller issue, or a distributor issue, it is a manufacturer issue.
Glitchy. Currently staring at a big black screen. Money down the drain.
