This is a very nice flip phone, especially when all you do is talk on the phone, and you can set it up with ICE, CONTACTS, AND EMERGENCY CALLS. I'm tired of these extra larger phones, I've had the smaller flip phones, then went to the larger ones, so I am ready for a smaller flip phone and being able to carry it in my pocket. THIS PHONE WAS A BRAND NEW TCL VOLCANO UNLOCKED, and so far, I like it very much.

Decent phone %26 value for the cost
This phone works great for what we need it for. No way to delete youtube app which is a negative. Unlocked phone, but Verizon service not found keeps popping up. Also, it asks if I want to use cellular when wifi isn't available instead of doing it automatically. This phone is working great as an emergency phone for my 10 year old

Good, maybe not great for a child.
Considered using this as a kids phone. Researched and decided to go with a managed smartphone option. Great for a limited device, has a auxiliar jack and Bluetooth (didn't get to test). Great for calls, text is a little inconvenient but doable. No voice to text unfortunately and no ability to send emotes. Browser cannot be disabled or limited. It is hard to use, but whatever sites that can load on the browser are accessible. Even if you limit mobile data, through wifi-Hotspot there is no limiting. Biggest deciding choice for us.
