It's beautiful on my desk and the water pump is quiet, which I love! Very pleased. Took one star from pump because my ideal is absolutely no sound, but that may be unrealistic. It's still one of the quietest pumps I've ever seen, also because of its design. The sculpture on top has a lid that covers the pump and buffers its sound beautifully. I love it!

It makes the atmosphere very calm, and tranquil. I love how it lights up as well. If you're looking for a nice, stylish, and tranquil piece to add to your Livingroom then this is it.

So I have to keep the pump on its lowest setting otherwise the water gets all over my desk. Because I have to keep it so low I can hardly hear it and the water doesn't look like much coming out.
