Teamson Kids Little Chef Westchester Wooden Play Kitchen, Retro Toy Kitchen with Icemaker, Chalkboard & Accessories

We love this kitchen so far! My husband and I speed-assembled it during nap time, which took about an hour. Our only major complaint is that 4 pages of the assembly instructions were missing, and we couldn't find a pdf after a (quick) online search. We were able to figure out the missing steps with a little guesswork.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 6 year old and she loves playing with her pretend toys like any other kid. When we got her the "Little Chef Westchester Retro Play Kitchen", she got super excited. This particular item was on her list for quite sometime and her happiness knew no bounds. Here is a my detailed review of the product: 1. Packaging: The product comes in a almost 60 lbs package and once you open it, you will understand why it's this much heavy. Most of the products are made of wood like material and this is what it makes this toy furniture so sturdy. I would give full points on packaging as none of my items were missing or broken. 2. Assembly: This is the part which takes a real good time. It took me and my husband almost 2.5 hours to assemble the whole product. I must say that a decent screwdriver with different screw size option is what you will need to fix everything. It comes with a booklet which explains all the steps required to make the final product. All the parts used in the furniture comes with labels/stickers and that makes life easy. In our case, fortunately only one product was missing the sticker but since the booklet also has a image of the product, so we could figure out. The things which took the most of time are fixing the hinges of the doors as it had tiny screws but still not much of a hassle. I must say that during this whole 2.5 hours, we worked as a team and had a good family bonding time :). What could have been better, is a video Youtube link which shows a How-To video on how to assemble the product so as to remove any doubts whatsoever. 3. Final Product: Once we are done with all our hard work, we have the final product ready and this is simply awesome. In terms of the look, the product is very elegant and makes any kid (as well as adult) fell in love with it. I was initially not sure how white color would look but at the end, I guess, I made a good choice. The main product features: a. Fridge: This has a thermometer which seems real to me as it's showing the room temperature, a chalkboard where one can put something like "Today's Menu" to help kids with imaginative play. The best part about the fridge was that it has pretend ice cubes also which comes down into the provided cup on press of the button. b. Stove: It has a clicking knobs, oven doors, gas burners and a toy clock. Pretty much what you have in a real kitchen oven. It even has a toy cellphone which you can hang in the groove. c. Sink: I liked it very much as it gives a real feel to the kid that she is working on a very similar kitchen like real. it even has tap for hot & cold. d. Microwave Oven: This is also very nice and add completeness to the whole product. Although this product doesn't come with other kitchen accessories but we had lot many at our home and my daughter made use of them. I would have loved if the product had some more accessories which matches with the product but I am not complaining. Overall: Very happy with the product and would give 100% on looks, fun factor & durability. Highly recommended for anyone with young kids and you may end up eating lot of pretend dishes :)

I love the real life applications that we are able to experience with my kids without actually using our real kitchen appliances. The refrigerator makes real ice. The stove is big enough for "play" chocolate chip cookies. This is one toy that gets used every day at our house.

All the pieces and hardware were labeled and the instructions were simple to follow. It arrived on my son's birthday, and he was so excited! His favorite part is the ice maker that really dispenses ice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little guy loves this kitchen set! (Yes it's for boys too) . It's exactly as described...mint blue. Made from mostly wood but its not heavy so you dont have to worry about it falling and hurting your little ones. It has a chalkboard on the front so he can write what he wants to on it. It comes with a stainless steel sink so it's nice to let him use real water in it once in awhile to up the fun and the wood around the sink doesnt get wrecked from this either. The front of the microwave and the oven is a clear plastic piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Westchester retro play kitchen is the nicest play kitchen I have ever saw. The kitchen is actually wooden insyead of plastic like most. It has an ice cube maker on the refrigerator door and also a chalkboard on a door so the kids can write their menu for the day! It is so nice and the pink is beautiful! Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was a really cute play kitchen. It took a few hours to put together but it was easy to do. The instructions were pretty clear and had pictures as well that helped. I didnt have much issues putting it together. The hinges were a little hard to put together on my own. I did end up having to get my husband to help hold a couple of doors in place as I screwed in the hinges. But that was towards the end. It came with a play phone, a cup and ice cubes as well with the kitchen. I really liked the color of the kitchen. The wood feels really sturdy. And the play kitchen itself feels really sturdy once its together. I was really surprised with the sink. Its metal and it feels like a real sink. The fridge door has a chalkboard on it that I thought was a nice touch as well. My daughter loves this play kitchen. She has enough space to put all her kitchen toys. She really likes putting the ice in the ice maker on the fridge door and pretdending shes making a drink. She also loves drawing on the chalkboard. I think this kitchen is great for the imagination. I would definetly recommend it if youre looking for a sturdy play kitchen.

It didn't take very long for my husband to put it together.I love that all the cabinets open and there is lots of storage space for kitchen toys. It even comes with 2 ice cubes and when you put the cup in its spot the ice cubes with fall in it. My only complaints are they could have come up with something better to hang the play cordless phone on and it should come with something to give you the option to attach it to the wall if you would want to for a safety feature. I can't wait for my Grand babies to come over and play with this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter and was super excited when it finally got here but when we opened it and put it together I was really disappointed. The only thing it's really got going for it is that it's really cute when put together. It's not very good quality at all. One of the ice cubes that came with it was dirty and scraped up on one side and had dirty sticker residue on the other. Clearly not new, there is also scrapes on the wood, and one piece was bowed a little. Some of the screws that were already screwed into one of the pieces just fell out on their own as well. It's cute but not something I wouldn't recommend buying if you want it to last and a good quality product

I ordered this to be shipped to me. It came broken.
