TEAMWILL Electric Foam Cutter with Hot Wire for Polystyrene and Styrofoam

I haven't used this tool a lot, but the few times I have it has worked perfectly. It melts through the Styrofoam quickly and neatly. So much easier than using a utility knife and doesn't make a huge mess, actually there was no clean up. It does smell a little as it is burning or melting the material, but the smell didn't last long. I do hope it lasts a long time, but it was inexpensive and nothing is made to last these days, so time will tell.

This item does not cut foam/styliform, I did not try it on butter, maybe it would cut that!!!

the cutter does not generate or keep enough heat to cut well

This heat cutter worked for a short time. I am working on a coral reef from pool noodles and it did not last the whole project, just a few days.

We were disappointed in the condition of the device and packaging and surprised that a vendor would respond in such an unprofessional manner. Device was loose in the box, no packing material, no user manual, no safety precautions, no shipping documentation, electrical cord was not wrapped, prongs on plug had punctured box, device blade was bent. These issues imply that the device has been previously used and damaged.
