it surprises us how much cool air comes out of this little machine. our bedroom seems to be the hottest room in the house! we can close the door just enough to for air circulation. it cools it off right away and keeps it cool running on low most of the night. i usually turn it off at some point.
This is just perfect for me in my studio apt. I live in the Rockies and it can get warm and stuffy at night in the summer even in this fresh beautiful place. It came just as advertised, I situated it next to my bed at bed height, the fan mode alone is more refreshing than the tall room fan I've been using. Very very smoothly quiet!! Sleep isn't my friend however I just woke up from a much needed 5 hour "nap" with this fan on next to my bed. That was before I used the mist feature. Then when I added the mist feature after filling the reservoir with ice water I realized how much that feature adds to the cooling effect. It's simple yet the 3 various speeds and 3 mist options and the 7 different colored led lights...... it's a heck of a deal y'all and really surprised me so nicely. Thanx Walmart. Oh! and the seller exceptional too.

Our AC quits frequently, and we live in Florida. I purchased this to keep my bunnies (and myself) cool whenever this happens. It helps a little. The bunnies don't like the mist, but it does cool down their area a bit. Aimed directly at me, in close proximity, it is refreshing. It's a good, short-term fix.
Works well in small rooms,the capacity of the water tank is long lasting. It's perfect for night time with dry air in the room.my child sleeps better now,since he was always complaining about his stuffy nose caused by dry air.
IT CAME WITHOUT THE REMOTE. IT WORKS OK CONSIDERING HOW SMALL SUITABLE TO HAVE NEAR A DESK. IT LOOKS BIGGER IN PICTURES ON LINE. NOISE IS NOT AN ISSUE FOR ME, IT PRODUCES A HIGH PITCH SOUND (LIKE A DENTIST'S DRILL) THAT MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR MOST PEOPLE. NO REMOTE, EVEN IF MENTIONED IN WEBSISITE DESCRIPTION. I ALREADY REPORTED THE LACK OF REMOTE AND NO RESPONSE FROM WALMART.
to be honest I believe I got sent a defective one because it sounds like a helicopter that is far away. %26 after reading the description over %26 over I'm secure in saying that this one piece is defective.
Fan barely blew air, cord broke within a single use, had to be plugged in at all times, bulky for how little air it pushes even on high. Remote has to be used.
It doesn't cool a space down if anything it can go on your bedside table to blow misty air at your face. The reservoir is at the top making it top heavy and easy to tip. It doesn't blow very strongly either.
The description said it didn't spray water. We set it up and thought it needed a few minutes for the water to evaporate..but that never happened it keep spraying water..not at all what we expected
