[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves these mini skateboards! It was fun to customize these decks with different wheels, but can be a bit tricky for little ones to put together. These definitely need to be assembled by an adult as it may be a bit difficult for 6-9 year olds to put together themselves. Otherwise this is a fun toy to play with.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these for free in exchange for my honest review. Son has been asking for these for quite a while, so I was really excited to get them for free! There are lots of teeny tiny parts, so if your kids are little, be prepared to be the one building them! I really appreciate how they put in a few extra screws and bolts in case any get lost. I really like this kind of stuff so that was great for me! These other guys zip around and don't take up a whole lot of space so they're really great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There were no instructions for my Son to read but looking at the 1 pre built he was able to do it just fine. It came with extra screws and nuts thankfully as they are small and easy to lose. He had a fun time putting it together while he is recovering from surgery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Son was super excited to receive and build skateboard Tech Decks. He opened it right away and choose which wheels went with with board. Hes 10 and found it tough to start the screws and had to get help started. Theyre fun to design and put together but dont get played with much after, more of a collectable in our house.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son absolutely loved this Tech Deck! The baker design was very attractive to him and he enjoyed playing with them. It did take him a little bit of time to put them together but it was a nice project for him. Absolutely loved this toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids have asked for these Tech Deck boards a couple times but I didn't purchase them because I assumed they would go into the abyss of lost toys. To my surprise both my 14year old and my 11 year old really enjoy playing with these. They both thought it was cool that they got a package that they get to build themselves. Both my daughters got to put on the trucks, wheels, even the board grip sticker. The kit came with the world's smallest screwdriver to get the trucks and wheels onto the deck, it's super handy and im so glad it came woth this screwdriver. Both my girls have been taking one everywhere they go. flipping it off the seats in the car, the shelves at the grocery store, and trying to sneek them to school. Keeps busy hands occupied and they don't seem to get board playing woth these little skateboards
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys loved the Tech Deck 4Pack Primitive set they got to try out! These boards have awesome graphics from real skateboard companies that my boys really liked. The set comes with everything you need to assemble the boards and were easy enough for my 9 year old to put together without help. I would suggest using a tray in a well lit area to assemble the boards, as there are tiny pieces that can be easily lost.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given Tech Deck 4Pack Primitive from SpinMaster in exchange for my honest review. Of course they weren't really interested in my review so much as that of my children. My kids were thrilled to receive this and eagerly opened it up. Of course, they weren't overly careful and little bits went flying. Be warned! Putting these together was a little beyond the abilities of my 6 year old but my 9 year old got right in there. He still needed a bit of help from his dad though. They found the sticker part of the board a bit difficult to place properly. The tool for the wheels worked well for the socket piece but wasn't quite as effective for the screwdriver. Once together my boys enjoyed pretending their fingers were riding on the boards. I personally didn't quite "get it" but that's why these are toys for kids! My sons said to give these a four star review because of the assembly difficulty only. Time will tell how much these hold their interest but for now they're having fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boys loved to build the boards and play with them. The youngest found the screws a bit to small so really stick with the age for that part. I love the creative ways my boys have played with tech deck.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was supposed to receive Primitive, but have instead received Baker boards. Different artwork, but all the same otherwise. My kids were very excited to rip into these boards right away. Theyve played with them at friends houses but have never had their own. After deciding who gets what, they were ready to get at it. There was initial excitement and enthusiasm at the prospect of building the boards. This did not last long. My children became quickly frustrated, and I frantically gathered the ripped pieces of packaging to look for instructions. No such luck. Fortunately, I am clever enough (and its easy enough) to figure out assembly. Once I sorted the children and got them going they happily built their boards. They come with necessary tools and teeny tiny screws. By some miracle none were lost during assembly. We, as a family, do enjoying building projects, and this is a fun toy to figure out. The kids have been playing happily with them and finger boarding all over the house. Tech Deck boards are really cool, just be prepared to help little ones
