Techtongda 240lbs Thrust Electric Outboard Motor Outboard Engine Saltwater Electric Trolling Motor 24V

NOW:Package seems to resealed , hope NOT used motor, but in good condition. Packing inside seemed clean and secure. Motor:Rigged on a Gorrilla 5ft step ladder. Has 8 step setting for forward/reverse on the handle and the same but lite on the motor head. Connected to battery, and it worked. The 4"x4" 14 page 12 shows 2 QA certificates of this product. The RED POWER cable at the clamp crimp has (8 - 10) fraid wires sticking out. CRAPPPYYY Poor workmanship and/or quality of material. I hope that's the only spot. This will have to be fixed before i go out in the middle of a large lake. I took pictures and videos. I tried to contact the company, but neither website links work(both down). From desktop and phone... WOW. Had to do a search and found a link with parts. Company GONE, I guess!!! This makes me nervous. Now I'm not sure the specs are correct, I have a 10ft dingy @ 80 lbs, and I go out all day with lots of stuff. Current Pexmor 55 lbs was under powder. This could be ideal if it works. Advertised @ 240 lbs. 1.5 ton haul weight, will see. Will update if survey allows..

Purchased April 2025. Finally used the motor about 5 times last week and now the tiller gear is stuck in reverse and will not allow shutoff. Very disappointing! Let's see how they honor the 6-month warranty they claim the motor has.

The motor is rated for 1200 Watts with 24Volts DC. This means the maximum current can reach 50 Amperes. To hold such amperage, the gauge of the wires attached permanently to the motor must be at least AWG 6 or 8 when they look like 10. Also, for this level of amperage and run time expectancy the clamps attached to the wires also may easy overheat especially when a battery has only threaded terminals.
