Boils water quickly for 110v a lot better than other brands that were tried.

The high 1500 watts makes a difference in heating large pots. I noticed water boils faster too.

Good weight, does not slide easily, nice product!

Well-made and heats up fairly quickly. Watch the heat setting. Anything from about in the middle is fairly hot. Middle setting is too hot for eggs. The control knob is good quality and has a tight feel. Not loose and sloppy like a different brand that I have. Will definitely bring water to a rapid boil. Included is a photo of a heavy-bottomed Cuisinart pot with pasta at a full rolling boil. One star taken away because the inserts used for the feet do not have good grip. I modified the feet with some rubber pads. Considering the sale price, this is a really good hotplate.

great little burner

Nice size, like the handles, like the full plate that gets hot, not a coil. But wish it had glowing red top to warn you it was still hot. Burner stays hot/warm for quite a while, but you can't tell, so watch out for that. Otherwise it's a great little product.

This item ships from a 3rd party shipper. if you need to return or have issues, Walmart does not give you a prompt refund. They return it to shipper and somewhere down the line you supposedly get it.

It works for meals that cook quick like eggs, NOT good for boiling waters or stews, very disappointed it would reach it's peak and just turn on and off. Wanted another but not nomore, we put it back on the box.

Will not power all the way off. The plate is still warm after turning it off 2 hours ago.
