I purchased this as an addition to my workouts at home and I can say it does well in providing a great pump but even at its most resistant I found it wasn't enough to get an intense workout from. However, my arms have already been showing response to the workouts (a small workout poster is included) and is great alternative for me at 45 when doing my boxing workout. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that's great for tonight and strengthening your arms for men or women.

Takes some muscle, but thats why I bought it. To get some muscle. Could have bought the weaker one for about same price, but I need a challenge and if it was easy, why buy it.

it's very stout piece of equipment even at the minimum level when beginners use it and even with the padding on the handles it's hard on your forearms may try the other piece of resistance equipment

Great piece of equipment. Really works your muscles but the bar makes your forearm sore but other than that it's worth every penny.

I got this to workout on my upper body. I really like the ease of using it. The tension and resistance is easy to adjust as I go.
