I've used Japanese washcloths for like 40 years and I bought these because I love color and a great price. These are identical except for color so makes no difference, but I just wanted all the different colors as they were shown and they came with repeat - but I know that's silly. Something you might try --- after I think they're worn and don't want them on my skin anymore, I use them to clean the tub. They reach well, soap well, and make for an easy rinse of surfaces. They're scratchy enough to clean but not necessarily scratch surfaces. I cut them into smaller sizes for smaller sinks.

I wanted multiple colors, so the 6 people in my family could tell which one is their's in the shower. I was disappointed to receive duplicates of the same color. Otherwise I love these Japanese wash cloths.

Waaaaay too rough for my skin - even after putting them in washing machine and dryer.

I don't know if I got a different product from the other reviewers, but I have been buying this type of body exfoliating cloth for at least 20 yrs, and I have never felt such an abrasive 'cloth' ever. It is SO ROUGH. It is the same material as those plastic mesh scouring pads used in kitchens. You could truly scrub a pot with it. There is no way to I could use this product without causing harm to my skin. I am returning them for sure. I will probably just spend a little more and get the original version I had from the Body Shop. Stay away!

Thought I would get a random variety of colors, nope, don't be fooled by the pretty colors cause you won't get them, I got 2 white and 4 pink.
