Works as described. My home is cement block construction, outside and interior walls, and the remotes work well in basement and livingroom.
So nice to be able to control fixtures and appliances from my chair without having to get up. Works exactly as promised.

I ended up returning this item because I couldn't get it to work following the instructions and the remote would not program to the plugin

It does not work!
It doesn't work for me any lamp that you have that has an adjustable on and off it will not work on. I was very disappointed.
Cheap, unreliable. Line of sight from 5 feet away works ok. Through a wood table from 2 feet away doesn't! Awful!
