Ordered this as a gift, and was really happy when it arrived and I saw how well made it was. This was for a younger person's new apt. and he loved it. He can fold it up when he needs to make room. The chair is very well made, and the canvas is strong too. Can't go wrong here.

I wondered if the price was too high when I bought this chair to replace one I have had for over 20 years. From the quality of the construction and finishing details to the chair's sturdiness and stability, this was definitely a better chair than the one it replaces. I have another 20 year old director's chair that may be a bit long in the tooth. I will definitely replace it with Telescope 17 Inch World Famous Canvas Director Chair. Great value for the price!

Although these chairs are a bit pricey, they are worth it. I will pay extra for made in the USA and for something that will last. We have another directors chair that is well over 15 years old, have just now replaced the faded but still working canvas seat and back. Other less expensive chairs have come and gone; I'm tired of putting them in the landfill. I'm sure these will be the last I have to purchase for many years.

I just received my chairs but they seem to be very nice, attractive and well constructed. I also appreciate that I can order replacement canvas in the unlikely event I actually wear them our. I am using them as indoor furniture in my office/computer room.

Comfortable, collapsable, last forever - whats not to like. Replacing my 20 year old Telescope chairs (have replaced the seat/back several times) Still my favorite.

Excellent product. I got the chair in Walnut stain and brown canvas and it's very attractive - doesn't look 'cheap' in any way. I don't know whether it would stand up to heavy use but I bought it for occasional use as extra seating in a 3 season room and it fits the bill perfectly.
