THE EXTENDABLE PADDLE ISN'T DESIGNED SECURE-INS
INSTEAD OF THE FLAT PART OF THE PADDLE PUSHING THE WATER REARWARD-THE WATER RESISTANCE TWISTS THE PADDLE FROM IT'S FLAT SIDE TO IT'S STRAIGHT SIDE-WHICH CANNOT PUSH WATER REAR. THE DESIGNERS USE A ROTATING SHAFT TO EXTEND AND CONTRACT THE LENGTH OF THE OAR AND TWIST-LOCK IT INTO THE DESIRED LENGTH. IT IS THIS TWIST LOCK THAT IS TO WEAK TO HOLD WATER RESISTANCE AND KEEPS TWISTING. IT MAY WORK FOR A WOMAN OR WEAK PADDLER-BUT NOT AGAINST A CURRENT, NOT BY A STRONGER PADDLER, NOT ON A HEAVIER PADDLEBOARD. OR BY ANYONE WHO NEEDS TO INCREASE SPEED. I AM A PRO-SURF AND PADDLEBOARD TEACHER AT NEWPORT BEACH, CA AND HOLD THE PATENT ON THE HORIZONTAL FIN. I AM QUALIFIED TO UNDERSTAND THE DESIGN FAULTS. THANKS, SHERM. (NOTE-IT'S STILL WELL WORTH THE $15!)
