In comparison the Depend Shield guard is more discrete and compact than the TENA Guard. The TENA is about the size of a large grapefruit, the depend is about the size of a lemon. The image on the box looks 3x smaller than the actual TENA product is. Both work as intended.
being an old geezer I had about with incontinency recently and these pads were a godsend! they kept the problem of the control was it a very economical solution. these are easy to open and easy to use and keep things reasonable. This is not a problem I would wish on my worst enemy but at least this addresses the problem...
it fits well in men's mid-rise briefs. have not tried Tena mens pads in any other underwear. i ould no think they would work in jocky shorts. luckily I have not had the occasion to test these pads on a full release.
Available Now! I have been waiting for Tena guards to be back in stock. Although, I am not pleased with the condition that causes me to need a guard, Tena is the best, most comfortable I have used.
Bought these for my husband who was reluctant to start wearing any kind of help for his problem. However these were smaller and did an amazing job keeping his briefs dry as well as himself! He's been using these men's pads for more than a week now with no complaints! A huge plus!
These was a game changer for me. I bought these for myself and not my husband. I am 58yr. female that has incontinence. in 2017 I had to have a hysterectomy and they had to put a bladder sling. From day 1 I had leakage problems i have tried every incontinence product out there and none have given me the protection like this product does. My sling has shifted and therefore my leakage goes the same way that a man with leakage does. There is just a few products that is made for the men. I have tried them all. The only 2 guards that I can find is Tena and the other major brand name. What makes Tena better? Tena guards are wider. Tena is white, adheres well, and most importantly has good absorbency. I hope Tena never stops making this product.
Tena men's pads used in a pouch-style brief offer excellent protection. These are great pads. The triangle shape is the best for frontal protection. If you are tired of modified women's pads you need to try Tena. You may have to order online as I don't see them in most stores. The adhesive works well. I've been using them for 6 years and will not change. Tena sells a heavy pad that has high capacity and holds alot if you are not around any bathrooms.
used a different brand for about a month. These are definitely superior. Better absorbency. Slightly better adhesive, which could still be a little ((20%) stronger. For the most part does exactly what it should. But I frequently reinforce with a folded paper towel first, which helps even more. Size is adequate most of the time as is absorbency.
I had prostate cancer in 2013 which I beat, but I was left incontinent. I have used many incontinence pads and this is one of the better ones. It is very thin, but I like that it is long and wide to prevent leaks onto my underwear and clothing. It also absorbs a lot of liquid even being thin and it contains the liquid in the pad. The only reason I did not give it 5-stars, is the pads have a tendency to roll down from the top. They do not always do this, but when they do, I need to replace the pad because they no longer are covering the whole section of my underwear where leaks can happen.
I thought I was buying adult disposable underwear so my bad but they shifted around too much for my husband's pee problem. They are currently gathering dust under the bathroom sink
