Very accurate bolt have been able to harvest many deer using this bolt. The only problem I have with them is the vanes tend to separate after passing thru the deers body
These are very accurate out of my Tenpoint Turbo X. Shot out to 40 yards. Although I'm an old bowhunter and typically shoot from 12 to 20 yards. I'll be using these a lot.
I am always very happy & satisfied with Tenpoint products! Nothing better!
I had to redo all of my old Evo X arrows with the new aluminum HP inserts and nocks for use in my Stealth 450. I bought the lighted Evo X as the light system for use in the HP inserts is completely different than the old light stick system. The new system is more durable than the old but you need a nock puller tool to pull the nock out to turn the light off.
Website is wrong. The Website says the bolts are 445 grains. The packaging shows 440 grains. otherwise, it is a great product. I wanted the heavier weight.
These are the only crossbow bolts I shoot. They fly true, they are easy to pull from targets, and the lighted mock is easy to reset after the shot. The only thing I wish about this bolt was changed would be the brightness on the nock. I shoot nocturnals on my compound set up and it's a night and day difference. That being said if you are looking for a semi heavy bolt that has incredible accuracy, strength, and dependability this is the bolt for you
I definitely like these arrows and they seem to shoot as well/consistently as the same arrows with non-lighted nocks. A few things that I think put these at 4/5 instead of 5/5: 1) my batch was shooting about two inches to the right of the comparable premium carbon arrows with unlighted nocks at 20 yards. This means that I don't feel comfortable switching between the lighted and unlighted arrows in the field without re-sighting my crossbow. 2) I would like it if the nocks were a little brighter when lit - I think the lighted nock is helpful for very low-light conditions, but don't find much use for it in daytime conditions. 3) Cost! I think the cost is getting a little bit out of control, particularly when it is pretty easy to lose an arrow even after a solid shot on a deer (I have spent hours trying to find lost arrows). With shipping costs and including the broadhead (using TenPoint Evo-X CenterPunch Expandable Broadhead), these arrows are pushing $60 apiece. This makes any lost arrows pretty expensive. This doesn't mean that the arrows and broadheads aren't high quality - they definitely get the job done - just that the cost can be a little bit frustrating if you lose an arrow or several over the course of a season. Other than those issues, I am happy with these arrows.
Ten point can do a much better job putting the nock inserts in. I have to take every nock out and clean the glue out with goo-gone so the nocks work properly.
I used one of the three for practice and wasn't able to turn it off. Not reusable. It did stay on for 24 hours witch is a plus. I pulled back on it like it said in the directions and it pulled out with the O-ring coming out with it and remained on. Reinstalled and never could get it to turn off so I wont be able to use it again.
I bought the 3 pack, 2 of the lighted nocks to not work. I have shot them several time with my crossbow hoping they would finally settle in. The nocks do not move and almost seem “bloated” within the arrow its self preventing them from activating. This is the first time i have been disappointed with a product from tenpoint.
