I have lower back pain and was told to get a tens unit, so after researching I chose the IReliev Dual Channel TENS & EMS unit. Very simple to use, set up is easy. Its is lightweight and portable. I haven't been using it long enough to determine if it is going to help with pain, but so far so good.
I bought this item without knowing what I was getting. I had seen other devices in local stores, but none like this one. The reason I chose it is because the unit not only works on the nerves, but also the muscle. This is something I felt I needed. The product is as good, or better, than I had expected it to be. I am more than happy with its performance, its mobility, and convenience. It comes with easy to follow instructions. I use it every day for pain control related to an IT Band injury.
After using aTens unit at PT, i had to have one of my own! This one is so easy to operate. It feels amazing! i use it on my shoulder and neck.
This worked great for my back pain (pulled a muscle in my upper back) and my husband's chronic elbow pain. Cheaper than 1 visit to an acupuncturist, chiropractor or physical therapist.....and it really works!
Love this small and compact tens unit. The company is great to work with. The price is fantastic as my original one was $400 and the insurance paid for it.
The device works well. The electrode pads are better quality than some competitors. The instruction booklet was clear. I would redcommend it. It is one of very few devices that have both Tens and EMS on the same device.
Good value.
The chiropractor unit has more pads so it affects more muscles, but that unit costs $400. This works well in both the tens and ems settings. I would recommend this to a friend.
I love the operating manual. It made me very comfortable getting started. I do wish you could read all the warnings for who should NOT use this device before purchasing it though. Thankfully, I passed the "test" and could use the device. I would have been thoroughly upset if I had wasted my time.
according to my understanding you do not need to use any kind of cream or adhesive on the pads - they should work for a long time with whatever gel they are covered with. i have had the unit for only a couple of weeks and not used it that much and the little pads are not sticking well - and i have kept them on their plastic thing. so, do i buy some kind of gloop to put on them or do i use duck tape? otherwise the unit seems to work and i like the many level options- just got to keep the pads stuck to my body. i am using the larger set of pads that came with it now and have ordered more pads, but the pads can get expensive at this rate. btw, i do NOT use bath oils or lotions where i am putting the pads so that is not the issue.
