The item is very hydrated, and looks appealing to apply. When the pad is actually in place it feels cool and refreshing. But getting it to stay in place is somewhat difficult, because the eye pad is very slippery. A little too wet. It is also hard to keep the pad under the eyes. You need to be lying down to keep the eyes pad in place.
