Terminator 2 (Blu-ray)

This is a classic movie and seeing it in high definition on the blu ray player makes it even better. It was also very affordable and arrived quickly at my home after ordering.

Be aware that this is the theatrical release and not the extended version

I bought this movie because it has been updated so it can play in Blu-Ray Players that support 720p/1080p. The movie is the theaterical version meaning it doesn't have the extended scenes from both the DVD/Blu-Ray's Skynet Edition nor does this version have special features (Only Commentaries). The picture may have not been HD when it was created so it has artifacts or dot crawl while the image is being displayed, however thats is mostly when you're up close.

The HD-DVD version beats the Blu-Ray version of T2. The Blu-Ray version includes the WMP version that will not work if you have WMP10 or WMP11. Also the Blu-Ray version is in 1080/30p while the HD-DVD version is in 1080/24p. Finally, the Blu-Ray version is in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound while the HD-DVD version is in 7.1 DTS HD and headphone-surround. The HD-DVD version is sold in Europe and HD-DVD has no region code which means that HD-DVDs from other countries will work in any HD-DVD player no matter the country unlike Blu-Ray DVDs and regular DVDs.
