Hilarious! I don't know which I enjoy more watching the snake wiggle around or watching my daughter and pets play with it!
Ok for snakes that aren't working after you change the batteries, make sure you replace all 3 batteries in the snake, 2 on bottom, one on top. If you can't figure out how to open the snake do the following: To open the battery compartment use a size 1 screw driver (from a glasses or electronics set) to loosen the two screws on the bottom of the head at the base where the head attaches to the body. Wiggle it open and you will see two AAA batteries. Replace those but then flip the snake over and you will see a third battery that needs replaced. Download the instructions sheet on this page to see a diagram.
We had great fun with it for about 2 weeks. However, after changing the batteries on both remote & snake, it won't work. They are fresh batteries. The snake lights up, but shuts off when clicking remote. I've searched for resolution but no success. I can't return it as it's been more than a month. Is there a reset or other way to get it going?
Was great, until I had to change the batteries. The compartment would slide out fully, but thankfully I have a set screwdrivers for security screws. I had to take the head apart to get the battery compartment out. Changed the batteries, the snake eyes light up, but now it's not “talking” to the remote.
I've had the exact same issue as Cee2. This toy has never worked for us more than a few seconds. It will go for a few seconds then turn off for no apparent reason, even with fresh batteries in the snake and the remote.
Worked for about 10 minutes, then couldn't get it to work again for anything, tried replacing all batteries, cleaning the wheels, everything. Real disappointment on Christmas morning.
Have never been able to get the remote and snake to connect
Yep. Got a defective one. Wasted 30 minutes with an angry toddler trying to figure this out.
Even with new batteries, its pretty bad. Works for 20-30 seconds then just stops.
I'm writing this review late, but my son got it as a gift and it stopped working within a month. No amount of battery changes have helped, it just shorts out randomly and will stop working without warning. It's essentially useless now and it was not a cheap toy!
