Terra by Battat – Remote Control Infrared Light-Up Spider – Tarantula

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect toy for pranks on the kiddos!! It arrived at the house, I took my pictures and proceeded to opening the package up! The spider itself is a nice size, it has a soft coating on the outside so it won't slip and fall if your are holding it. The only thing I noticed about the bottom half of the spider was the battery pack area. The batteries came installed inside the spider and the control, but it's semi lifted under the spider like a bubble is there. So I had to open up the spider, press down the batteries and secure the hatch again before it worked properly. Afterwards, we had no issue. Read over the directions, turned on the spider and begin using it. For this spider, you have to stay fairly close with the remote pointing towards to the spider for it to work properly. Other than that, overall it's a good toy. It moves pretty fast on the hard floors where you have to use it. No carpet use at all, doesn't work. But that's in the instructions.

The lifelike movements and sound even startled our cat!😄 The remote is easy and safe to use, and my 8-year-old son has no trouble making it scuttle across the floor. I'm impressed with the quality— it's very well made and looks durable. I also love that it's ready to play straight out of the box since the batteries are already installed. The only downside is that it works best on smooth surfaces, but overall, it's a fun toy that's totally worth it!

It is very entertaining and comes with batteries already included which I love. The spider moves pretty fast and the controller was easy to use. It is durable and safe for your kids.

The spider itself is pretty big and well-made (so definitely not flimsy). Also the remote controls can make this giant spider move very fast too!

This is such a fun product! Even the adults enjoy playing with it. I would definitely buy one again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love it. It's very durable and a safe toy to play with. Though it may raise your blood pressure if caught off guard. It moves really fast on tile, on carpet it's a little slower. I think my kids enjoy this more than a remote control car.

Packaging is durable, product came undamaged. 15$ for this tarantula is great price. Battery came preinstalled, which was great. Works front ,back side ways. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 5 year old son who loves spiders. And I will say he loves that it is a spider. However this R/C toy lacks a reverse button and it is overall a little difficult to maneuver. With it not being able to go in reverse he got it stuck a lot and so I ended up having to "drive" it for him and even I got it stuck a lot. It doesn't seem to shut off as soon as you stop hitting the forward button but instead keeps moving for a second or 2 which can be just enough to get it in a bad spot. It does move it's legs realistically when moving which is cute and it's eyes light up red which add a little more creepy factor to it. I'm thinking it might get easier to maneuver the more we play with it and get used to it so I'm not too worried about it but I do sincerely wish it could go in reverse. But again it's a cute little spider and even with it getting stuck my 5 year old still loves it.

Wonderful action and lots of laughs watching my dog's reaction. Battery life not very long. After changing battery and running again for a while (less than an hour, electric motor failed. Dead. Too much trouble to ship it back..

Great toy but stop working after 2 days. I changed the baterías to se if it will work but still it is still not working both remote and tarantula show red light but once I press any button the tarantula disconnects .
