My house is very much a building bricks house. However, the brand name tends to be very expensive so we tried this to see how it compares. First thing we noticed when opening is it starts with a big section of the ship already as one solid piece so we were skeptical. However, it was no different than building the brand name ones, except it's WAY cheaper. We would definitely recommend this to anyone into brick building. I've included a photo of the big section that came already together. It doesn't hinder the fun or the build at all though.

This is a very nice lego set. It is listed for 8 yrs and up and I believe this is certainly true. The little helicopter and sled are good quality. There is a lot of little detail items also. At least the first time this boat is assembled even an 8 year old might need some assistance. Nice item.

This kit is just like a Lego kit but from China. Very detailed with lots of accessory pieces. I am very excited to give it as a gift for the holidays! Hey kids get off the screens and start building. This kit really looks like fun!

This package is going to be great for my nephew for Christmas or his birthday. This is great for an autistic child or an ADHD child who likes to build things.

I got this as a holiday gift for my friend's boys since they've recently started getting more interested in LEGO-style building sets. I liked that this one has 482 pieces, so it gives them something they can keep coming back to instead of finishing it all in one sitting. It's a great set to work on together as a family over the course of a few weeks. I think that makes it more interesting because it teaches them to stick with a longer term project, follow the steps, and slowly see everything come together. The Arctic explorer theme is also pretty cool, with the icebreaker ship, helicopter, snowmobile, and animal figures. There's enough variety that they can keep playing with it after the building part is finished.

Your children or grandchildren will have fun assembling this ship.

Very nice set. We're going to let an 11 year old build it. With 567 pieces it should keep him busy
