I started working on ants in the dining room at a relatives house as soon as I got home from the store. I had to convince my relative that things look worse before it gets better. And did it ever look worse. This got the dining room under control in a couple of days. I still see a few going to th bait, and I refil/refresh it with a dot 2x a day. Then I noticed anys in a bathroom, just a few, but I thought I should bait it. I ended up with 3 pieces of cardboard baited in about a 10 inch span. Now, a couple of days later, after baiting it at least 3x a day (the dots of bait are completely gone!), the flow of ants isn't slowing down. I realized I hadn't looked carefully at the floor outside the door of the bathroom. There are tons of ants heading toward the bathroom. I put several tiny pieces of cardboard with bait on them all along the path outside the wall and out towards the front door. within minutes, the ants are stopping at the bait. They circle around the dot of bait. The whole family is into this now. We have se timers to take pictures so that we have some time lapse photos. I know how the system works, thats why I always buy this product. Now, 5 other people know how this works.
I do not use quite as directed because of our inquisitive furbabies. We had ants a bad infestation. I saw one come out of our floor vents. Peppermint oil did not help placed in the duct system. Having used this before I poured some in bottle caps and placed them in the vents. I haven't seen them in awhile. I use the ant traps at my son's house because he has no furbabies or children.
i use to see carpenter ants coming in threw the window so i set traps all over the and inbetween the screen and the window, i dont see them at all anymore. I also set traps of cardboard with just a drop on it like recommended at the front door and dont see them coming in from there either since i used this product.
This stuff just absolutely works. I put down about 5-6 drops on the enclosed paper squares and about 2000 ants show up to feast upon it. Next morning they're all gone and I don't seem to see them again for quite a while. It works and I can easily recommend it.
We get ants coming into our house a couple of times a year during the spring. All I have to do is put a few drops of this in their path a couple of times, and after a couple of days, they're gone completely ... until the next time. It works well on the little ants, and their bigger cousins as well. The first day, it seems to draw in more ants, but by the second day they're very few and by the next day they're gone. It works better than anything else I've tried.
On the floor in between my bedroom and bathroom when I saw 2 random ants crawling across the carpet. I later saw another 2 on the bathroom floor near my tub. Knowing that seeing this many, or this few, ants in a mobile home with the rain and sweltering, unrelenting heat, it’s a really bad sign. So I jumped online and ordered the only thing I could really afford and I have used it in the past, YEARS AGO, with good results. It arrived the next day and within a half an hour of putting down the bait, I went outside to do a few things and when I came back in, this many ants had already come out for the buffet! Within the next few hours, THOUSANDS piled in, turning my bathroom floor almost completely black! Different types of ants in various sizes and shapes were EVERYWHERE! The sun finished setting and I had to take my bath in the second bathroom that hasn’t even been used yet since moving in a few years ago. Awkward and uncomfortable for me, I just begged the Terro to work quickly! As the sun came out again I saw fewer and fewer and wondered if they were all finally going to sleep or… DUM DUM DUUUUMMMM… nope! That was the end of it! A couple of stragglers had passed out OR gotten stuck in the tiny bit of remaining liquid that was almost entirely devoured as though it was never there. Those couple were clearly, expired. And here I am 2 days later and I haven’t seen a single ant moving in the entire home! I made some makeshift stations with different sizes of plastic bottle caps and ran a piece of 16g stainless wire that I simply folded the end over to act as a stop, through the holes I drilled in the center of the caps, sliding the bigger caps on first, top up. The smaller caps top down and filled the smaller ones with the miracle murder liquid and then slid the smaller cap up into the bigger one and used the wire sticking out from the under side to stab my stations into the ground so they held in place. Placed them around the skirting of the outside of the mobile home all around the perimeter of that half that seemed to have been a problem. And I was a bit surprised that several ants immediately filed in. Not nearly the overwhelming amount that flooded my bathroom but I guarantee there are no survivors hanging out under this place right now! So grateful! I have a very sick pup that’s dealing with more than enough between the vet visits and medications that have been awful! She should not have to be surprised by finding ants anywhere in our home! What an amazing product that even disabled people who have no income, struggling to just get by while trying to care for those they love who need them, can afford! Everyone is struggling, absolutely but I deeply appreciate the price tag, the affordability of a dependable product that isn’t filled with toxins and chemicals. That doesn’t stink up the home and make it potentially dangerous to even be in the room where it’s being used to murder the masses of problematic ants. Easy cleanup and It’s done!
I bought this for Pharoah ants, which are TOO TINY to be effected by Terro granules outside. They're so small there's nothing they cant get into, even closed packages. I applied about 12 separate drops on cardboard and the Pharoah ants swarmed around each separate drop. They left, and more came so I added a few fresh drops. They came in groups to eat this for hours! Next morning there wasn't a single Pharoah ant in sight, none for 3 days now. Success!
every spring or summer, these ants show up in my bedroom eating or scouting for anything. not sure what kind of ants they were but they invaded my laundry basket of clean clothes. crawl on my bed and just bite the heck out of me anyways the bait worked. those little things swarmed around the bait to feast. maybe 2 or 3 days later, i dont see them anymore
I like that it's simple, not an eye sore, and it works. It's not immediate like a spray, but you will notice in time. The instructions back this up with the best steps to use. Personal note, if you see a trail of ants, I suggest finding the target and following the source of where they are coming. You would want to place the bait near the entrance and then address any ants from there to the source of whatever they are eating.
I’ve been using this for a week now and I still have ants! It definitely draws them to the bait but I don’t see fewer ants than before, no dead ants either! They sit there and drink it all day! (At least they aren’t getting into my food as much!) I have not seen any improvement on my ant issue! This is a great product to feed your ants but a great disappointment if you thought you were going to get rid of them! Picture is one week of using this product every day!
