Tetra 25870 Impeller Whisper Power Filter 60-Gallon (Pack of 1)

After several years my Whisper 30-60 filter was suddenly obnoxiously loud. Nothing I could do would quiet it down. Then I read it was suggested the impeller be replaced on an annual basis so I ordered one direct from Tetra. Now peace and quiet has been restored!!

I have been looking for a fix for my broken filter for some time. No one seemed to have the correct one. I found this one about a month ago. It was a different color than the original and came with a metal rod that was unneeded but worked great. Actually it works better than it ever has and has given a good filter a new life. I'm considering purchasing another one just in case.

I recently changed my impeller on my Tetra Whisper 3 filter which took only a few minutes. My old impeller was old worn and noisy. Much better very quiet. Thanks.

Ordered a new impeller for my older model Whisper 60. The old one was still working but made a loud rattling sound which was actually worse right after cleaning the unit. I. received the new one in only three days. Pulled the tube swapped out the impeller put it back in and immediately the rattling sound was gone. Mich cheaper then replacing the entire filtration system

I bought this for my whisper 5 even though it was not for a 5. Tetra does not offer a replacement for a whisper 5. It is a bit noisy but it works
