This really helps to keep my water alkalinity and ph where they need to be which is difficult with spring water that has a lot of minerals in it.

It helps keep the water in my tank straight I have hard well water so I need a little extra help with my tank

I have always trusted Tetra producs for my aquarium, Easy Balance did not dissapoint. Got the water back in perfect range again.

The product isn't as good as it's supposed to be. It's been 2 days and the ph levels in the tank have not moved, so if you're needing to lower for ph levels I WOULD NOT buying this product.

easy to use

I am pretty sure this product just saved my freshwater betta fish tank. I messed up the water levels trying to clean out the tank properly and in doing so, I think I added too much pH increase product from a different brand because my pH went from a 6.0 to an 8.4 (I take full responsibility and this whole fish tank thing is a new experience but I am trying my darn best to give this little $14 betta the best life possible). Then, no matter how much I diluted the water, the pH still would not normalize, even after letting it sit with the filter on. I was desperate so made a quick trip to Walmart to try and find a pH decrease product and came across this one. I added it in and let the filter run its course for 20 min and BOOM the pH finally balanced. I could not believe how fast it normalized. I am hoping this is not a fluke and that this continues to keep the pH balanced but I was finally able to put my betta back in his tank and he is happier then ever. So for now, this product is a life saver.

I have used this product for the past 4 weeks(ever since I purchased my 5 1/2 gallon aquarium kit from my local Wal*Mart) and it works great! Tetra recommends using this and SafeStart when setting up a new aquarium to help stabilize the general water chemistry and start the tank's biological cycle sooner. It also helps to cut down on the overall number of water changes, which is nice not to have to worry about when you have about a million other things to do each week! Just be sure to shake the bottle very well before treating the water weekly, as the Nitraban(Nitrate Reduction Granules) quickly settle to the bottom of the bottle. I was able to add fish within a week of setting up the aquarium and I did not have the ammonia in the aquarium go higher than .50 ppm. Once the ammonia did top out at .50 ppm, it quickly fell back to 0 ppm-all within a week! This product makes fish-keeping a lot easier!!!

This is one of those products that does more harm then good. It binds oxeygon. Choking your fish out! Even with a highly aerorated aqureum. Its not enough. Your fish cant breath with this product. It is very stressfull and causes harm to all fish. Just do your regular water changes and you wont need this product. Its not worth the risk! Its not a water conditioner!
